Compare your options & if you don't want to spend $300-$500 this is what I decided on. Purchased the Urban Camo version in large. Cheek pads are a little thick for my face & are not adjustable (can't take any padding out). Stick them under the sofa cushions at night & that will squish them down a bit. This helmet is not sunglasses friendly as the padding gets in the way. But I have found that with the nice vizor you really don't need any except for those times late in the day on certain stretch of road as your riding toward the setting sun. Last gripe is there is no way to lock the helmet to your bike as there is no D-ring, but a fantastic & quick ratchet latch.
Now the positives: Lighter than my XL Scorpion EXO400 helmet. Great air flow for the summer even with the shield down. No lift on my 2009 KLR650 up to 75 MPH, but is susceptible to mild cross currents & buffeting if you turn your head a higher speeds. I find it acceptable & compared to the Scorpion, my only other helmet, I prefer the AFX. If your not sure of your size, call Revzilla & they will guide you. Mine was spot on, but every head is different. They say AFX runs a little on the large size. Overall a really good looking dual purpose helmet at an affordable price that should last for years.
