I bought the vented version of these boots because the Sidi On-road goretex boots that I normally wear were "cooking" my feet everytime. I used the new boots yesterday for the first time in 90+ degrees on street (no highway) riding, which I would consider the warmest type of riding because of the frequent stops and not reaching above ~55 mph. The difference in temperature was noticeable, not that you feet air moving through your feet but you do not sweat profusely. In addition, they do not seem to need a period of break in, the fit was excellent (for me at least) and did not feel stiff like other boots do during the first days of use. It is hard to give an assessment about the protection but they have more protection built-in that my Sidi boots, which are comparable in price. Also I like that I can wear them inside my pants and in all black they do not look very flashy.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Although this tankbag did not work on my Multistrada 1200 (did not realize that tank is plastic, so magnetic bags like this one won't work) I would not hesitate in recommending it. I might even purchase the one with straps. The finish is excellent and even tough has a small size (ideal for some tank shapes) it has tons of features.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Forcefield Back Protector Pro Sub 4 The Forcefield Back Protector Pro Sub 4 is the worlds first Motorcycle back protector to transmit less than 4kn when subjected to the standard CE test. The Pro Sub 4 has been specifically designed to test at under 4kn when subjected to the standard CE test EN1621-2. Independent testing by SATRA shows a mean test result of 3.38kn transmitted energy, making it the first motorcycle back protector in the world to attain this level of performance. Constructed with a removable and washable outer cover to give the rider the ability to keep the back protector clean and hygienic , it also makes the protector more flexible as it is not bonded at the edges, this in turn makes it more comfortable to wear, a prime consideration in the design process of any Forcefield product. As with all Forcefield Body Armour the Pro Sub 4 has RPT (Repeat Performance Technology) ensuring continued and consistent protection even after multiple impacts. Features The World's first Motorcycle back protector to transmit less than 4kn when subjected to the CE test EN1621-2 (Level 2) Removable and washable outer cover CE Level 2 Rated Protection RPT (Repeat Performance Technology) Comfortable and non restrictive Flexible Breathable Moulds to body shape Adjustable waist and shoulder straps Multi Sport use Read more about this product in this WebBikeWorld.com Review

It is not a cheap product by any means, but I believe this is still the only sub 4 Kn back protector, so I guess more protection in this case cost more money!
You do not buy a back protector for style, so I gave it an average rating on this aspect, but it does not look bad. It is a little thicker than most back protectors so take that into account when buying a new jacket.
My only two small criticisms are: 1) it seems designed for sport motorcycles where you are leaning forward, I ride in an adventure tourer so my position is more upright and sometimes the bottom of the protector gets in the way with the elevated passenger seat. 2) it lacks a strap in the chest that perhaps would help it stay in place in case of a crash.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Just came back from a 3 hour ride at 100 degree weather. I use a pair of tall Sidi goretex boots. Even tough the boots are not perforated or vented these socks kept the sweat away from my feet. On my morning commute (say 90's F degrees), which only takes about 25 minutes, I could arrive at my office with regular cottom/synthetic socks completely full of sweat. These socks are tall but they do not feel tight at the top like other brands. Definitively will get another pair if I plan a multi-day trip on my motorcycle!
Yes, I recommend this product.
