Besides being cheaper than other skid plates the Givi covers a lot more area. this means more parts are protected. Installation is easy and it must be since you need to remove it to do a simple oil change.
Looks great, it's a bargain...

First my apologies for the lousy english...
I own a few boots for adventure before. All very stiff, I could not feel the bike at all. If you had to walk on those boots forget it... normally on adventure trips there is a lot of walking involved...
My new pair, the Gaerne Oiled boots are fantastic. I live in Brazil, ordered the boots to be shipped to Florida and pick up on my last trip to Fort Lauderdale. No space on luggage so I wear the boot in an 8 hour flight back home. No problems at all... this is how comfortable those boots really are.
Very good grip on slippery terrain, stiff enough to sustain off road riding and still very good "fell" on the bike.

This is my third evoline. Every time Shark releases a new Evoline I end up purchasing again.
Just purchased the Hakka Evoline 3 and used on my daily commute and on my short trips (for long trips nothing beats my Aray RX3).
The evoline is even more practical to use, all new features are very useful and work perfectly. OK... I agree... it's heavier and louder than average, however the features make it a perfect purchase for someone looking for a daily use helmet.
I love the sun visor and the looking mechanism for the swivel chinbar (before the chin bar would go around every time you get your head down),
The new chinbar mechanism also works great everytime.
I heard some people complains about the fragility. My first evoline lasted for 2 years, no problems... second one lasted for another 2 years everything works fine. Keep in mind this is a helmet I use every single day.
This is by far the best option for commuters.

Living in Brazil I get a lot of rain showers and hot weather.
I needed a glove that kept my hand dry and in the same time gave me felling and confort. Now for the first time I think I can cary just one glove for rain and heat. Held really does the trick. With the hand out of the rain compartment the glove feels just like a summer glove, light and confortable. On rain is perfect and I love the wipper on left hand.
