REV'IT! Pacific H2O Rain Suit In developing the PACIFIC H20 rain suit, one of the main goals was to make it easy to put on in just a few seconds about the time it takes you to get soaked during a heavy shower. Mission accomplished. The solution lies not only in the long, diagonal front closure, but especially in the newly developed, non-stick, PVC-free coating on the inside of the Power Nylon outer shell. The result is a 100 waterproof, breathable, and very practical all-weather companion that will meet the demands of any rider. Convenient features include a storage pocket on the upper leg. For safety, reflection panels on the shoulders and lower legs ensure great visibility. If you need to stand out in traffic even more, the PACIFIC H2O comes in a high-visibility neon yellow option. PROTECTION FEATURES Outer shell PVC-free PWROxford with PU coating, PVC-free PWROxford EN471 with PU coating (in Neon Yellow color only) Waterproofing 100 waterproof Composition 100 polyester (100 polyurethane coating) Visibility reflection at shoulders and legs, reflective logo at chest and back ERGONOMIC FEATURES Fit tour fit, regular Adjustability adjustment tabs at upper arm, cuffs and ankles Features PVC-free XL front zipper Elastic at waistline Includes transport bag Stash pocket on left leg EN343 certified

The rain suit was tested today in torrential rain for 3 hours at highway speeds. You would be nuts not to own this suit. I have the high-vis, and it is one of the best products I own. Why? well whoever said it's not waterproof must have forgotten to zip it up. It is rubber lined: it is impossible that it is not waterproof. One piece is functional. I can't understand why anyone would buy a 2 piece. I wore this today over body armor with a klim camel back. I put it on over my mx boots, which were a tight fit, to get on, but who would buy a suit that they need to take their boots off to get on? Imagine hopping around without shoes in a cloud break. The design is brilliant. This makes me want to try buying other products by the RevIt.

I bought these boots for a 5 day trip from vegas in the desert. They offer huge protection... I came down hard more times than I can remember on a rented DR, and these boots are armor plate for your from shins down. 120 degree heat, not a problem.
When I came back to CT I rode out on my 800GS without adjusting the switchgear: HUGE mistake. These boots are thick at the toe and have very little ankle flexibility. You have to adjust your gear shift leave to accommodate the toe to upshift.
Second issue that is a bit of a pain is that they are not fast to put on. 4 buckles, all need to be adjusted, takes for ever. Not a boot you throw on to jump on the bike for a short trip. These are riding boots, not walking boots.

I am 6'1", 220lbs, wear 36 x 34 Levis. I ordered the size 36, and they fit like they were made to measure. I saw in the video all the slack at the ankles. Not mine, they are perfect (bit long, so when I am on the bike they fit. The material is supersoft, and worn over regular work trousers move & bend without a problem.
The only issue I have is the armor in the knees is a. pathetic, b. falls a bit low on my leg, and doesn't seem adjustable.
The airflow is great, close to wearing shorts.
Bought these to wear to the railroad station to scrunch into my backpack: perfect fold to nothing, and are lightweight

I wore the helmet new from the box for 4 days of 6 hours rides in the Mojave in July heat. It needs no breaking in. The peak is easy to on-off (tool required is a dime), which I liked to pack in a kit bag. Although the vid. description says you can pay more for a lighter helmet, I can't imagine why anyone would pay for lighter than this. Just hit up the revzilla vid again to see how to remove the liner for washing (its not obvious, but watch the vid and it is easy). The glue inside my helmet melted to the foam, so ripped a bit when I took it out.

 Icon Automag Leather Pants
Icon Automag Leather Pants
'Icon Motosports' and 'leather pants' don't normally belong in the same sentence, or the same night club for that matter. But we knew that an armored leather riding pant was something that we had to do. When we were developing the new Automag jacket, the timing was right to design a matching armored leather riding pant to interface with the jacket. Technically the Automag Pant tears it up with features like full length zippered legs and fully adjustable and removable CE approved knee armor. More importantly, we paid extra attention to keeping the aesthetics honest with Icon's core street styling. Not since your Dad's swinging bachelor days has the leather pant been the right thing to do. Ask your mom, she knows. 1.2-1.4mm premium grade leather chassis Fully adjustable, removable, CE approved knee armor Full length zippered legs for easy on/off Cam-over waist adjustment lock Relaxed fit for over-pant use Gathered leather knee panel These pants are sized to fit as overpants. If you wear a size 34 pant-buy a size 34 Automag Overpant if you intend to wear them over your jeans. If you plan on running commando-buy a size 32

These look great. Much safer than jeans, & they have armor in the knees. They come very long, and you trim them to the length you want. I left them long, so when on the bike they are perfect. The mesh behind the knee makes them super comfortable. I wore them on back to back 6 hour rides on a weekend, and they were great. I wear them over office trousers to work. BUT
I am worried if they will stay on at all if I come off the bike. They have an adjustable slider on the waist: not even a button. If you stop in starbucks for a coffee you will have to pull them up and adjust the waist again before gettting back on the bike. I hope the tailor can ad a real belt or something to them, otherwise they really are spoilt by very weak clasp.

SAS-TEC Back Protector Cutting edge SAS-TEC material is intelligent armor constructed from visco elastic soft foam smart molecules. It has earned the highest CE rating available (CE level 2), during an impact, the armor freezes and hardens, absorbing the shock and distributing its force over a large area to reduce the risk of fractures. The protector is not destroyed by impact, but reverts back to its original state and maintains its capability to protect from multiple impacts. SAS-TEC Armor has a soft and pliable exterior (as opposed to rigid KNOX armor) which offers a great deal of comfort and mobility. This protector is anatomically designed and fitted to provide superior spine and back protection as well as the base of the neck /between the shoulder blades. SC-1/11 fits Women's Turbine Jacket SC-1/12 fits REV'IT! Cayenne Pro Jacket and Turbine Jacket REV'IT Gore-Tex Jackets have different shaped back protector pockets depending on the size of jacket, see the size chart for fitment information SC-1/16 should only be used for XYL or larger Gore-Tex Jackets SC-1/11 Measurements (approximate) Height 15 3/4 Width (at widest point) 13 Thickness 3/4 SC-1/12 Measurements (approximate) Height 19 Width (at widest point) 13 Thickness 3/4 SC-1/16 Measurements (approximate) Height 21 3/8 Width (at widest point) 13 3/8 Thickness 3/4

Bought this to replace the cardboard that comes standard in a Rocket jacket. Best thing about the flimsy insert that came with the jacket was that it was a useful template to trim the sasco. When warm the foam can be pushed into almost any existing back protector pocket. if its a little big, easily cut with a scalpel.
I like it alot: it's light and covers a wide area. Not going to put it into my mesh summer jacket though: it;s really going to cut the ventilation and turn into a wine gum in hot weather.

Dainese New Drake Air Textile Pants Drake pants will surely interest anyone who loves to ride his or her bike especially in the warmer months without wearing a suit or leather pants in order to obtain the protection required. These previously contrasting needs have now been perfectly reconciled by Drake fabric pants. Ample air vents in fretted fabric with closing on the thighs permit fresh air to enter during riding for cooling relief on even the hottest days. When temperatures begin to drop, the air vents can be closed. Safety is guaranteed by removable composite protections in the knee and shins, while extra-strength Cordura 750 fabric offers protection in case of fall. The elastic inserts in the knee optimise the wearability of the article, which is equally suited to metropolitan motorcycle use. Features Removable composite protectors. Cordura fabric 750. Suretta fabric. Perforated fabric. Insert in elasticated fabric. Soft inserts. Calf zip. Jacket-trousers fastening system. Adjustable waist. Sanityzed lining.

I bought these thinking that they would work well with my Dainese Shotgun jacket (which I really like). They zip together easily, but are different shades of black, so look odd. I returned the original pants because they were too short: the new ones fit comfortably on a long ride, but again are short. I buy jeans 35 waist 36 leg. Legs on these pants should be much longer vs. the waist, so there isn't a 1" gap around your ankles. Fit the legs, and the waist is baggy.
Second gripe is that the lining is really comfy, but gets caught every time in the zippers (you have to zip and unzip because you have to wear boots because the pant legs are short). I suggest either ordering a size larger in waist, and hope you have short legs, or go to the store and try on 3 pairs to see how the fit is. Really weird dimensions for dumpy people. Measure twice and call Revzilla and ask what size to get.

Bag is much bigger than it looks. Easily big enough to take gatorade, spare thermal underlayers you need in the morning but not at 3pm, sunglasses, phone, camera, map & all the other junk that would be bulging from pockets, & if you use a bike as primary transport, you need something like this. Fits really easily and securely to the back seat of by 09 CBR. Very tough construction, and expandable. Loads of zips and pockets.

Dainese Shotgun Jacket There is not a more comfortable summer jacket on the market. The liner provided with silver ion treatment ensures elevated and long-lasting hygiene. Composite protectors on the shoulders and elbows, the pocket for the G-type back protector, and the jacket-pants fastening zipper complete the technical profile of this technical jacket with outstanding performance. I had to return the original...I measured badly, but was really easy to return (DO NOT WEAR IT) if you want to return btw, just try the size and send it straight back if you want a different size.
It is close to wearing a t shirt over 30mph. I added the back protector like most I guess do, and feel well protected. Jacket is super light weight, and looks brilliant.
I wore it in the "cold" today 55 temps in CT with one of those thin golf style waterproof (windproof) pullovers, and very warm and comfortable. Takes a while to get used to something much lighter than leather.
Suggest measure twice, call the guys at revzilla and tell them your real size, and leave the rest to them.

really comfortable to walk around in and wear all day, on and off the bike. I was surprised they are not more rugged: they certainly will not be waterproof, the soles are soft (easy to walk in) but you feel how thin they are after your brake foot has rested on the peg for 30 mins. There is no wear patch on the gear change toe, and after 300 miles of changes the wear shows. That looks good. These are for Saturday evening rides, not for commuting in rain on a Tuesday morning .

Wear jeans with a 36" RELAXED FIT waist, what size do I get? Wear 38 in Firstgear and Olympia overpant.

I wear 36 Levi's and the 36 Icon over pant is the right size. They have generous side adjusters, so they can move out to go over a belt or something on the regular jeans underneath.

How waterproof is leather?

Since these are overpants, I wouldn't want to get my pants underneath wet in the rain if I'm going to work. Will they keep your legs somewhat dry?
yes. The water will blast the front of the leg, so fine in light rain. They aren't built as rain pants, and they do have fabric behind the knees & on other places that will let water in. The zippers are good & run along the side, but they would let water in after a while I guess. They keep me dry for half hour rides.

Are these overpants?

I'm looking for good riding pants I can wear "stand alone", not as overpants. These seem to be fitting the bill, but I just wanted to make sure: would they be comfortable if I were to use them as pants (during the summer that is)?

Thanks!
Yes, Supersoft inside, no tough seams.
