Just got back from a 2,500 mile trip to and through Colorado. First two days were full of rain with temps from 92 to 39 degrees. Last day, coming home, it was 96. These pants worked great. There was no water seepage anywhere. The waterproof thigh pockets make all the difference in usability. They are a little long for the waist size, but there is the option to have them hemmed shorter. The back pockets are useless for me (and are the same for my Olympia mesh pants). The belt loops are helpful but they could be bigger to accomodate a wider belt. I like them much better than the Tourmaster Venture pants they replaced. Overall, these pants do what they are advertised to do and they do it well. If you can't afford the more expensive, closer fitting european brands like Dainese or Rev'it, they are a great choice.

I've been wearing Olympia 734 Digital Protectors for years, but they apparently changed the pattern and they don't fit the way they used to. So, looking for a replacement for a summer glove, I found these Joe Rocket gloves. They are extremely breathable and lightweight and they fit well. The palm material grips well. Given their intent, they are not the most protective gloves. The knuckle protectors are a bit much (look like Godzilla's back) but I think they'll do the job. They won't protect you as well as other gloves, but they will be a lot cooler--it's a tradeoff. Bottom line, if you live where it's hot, they are a good choice.

Bought these gloves in 2010. In September 2011, rode the million dollar hiway from ouray co. to durango co. Rain, heavy snow and mid-30 degrees. Just when you need waterproof gloves. They were leaking in the first 15 minutes and by the time I reached the rest stop at the summit, they were soaked through and through. They offered water protection equivalent to my mesh gloves. And, it took them 2 days to dry out which made them worthless the next day in a 20 degree start. I cannot believe just how bad they were.
No, I do not recommend this product.
