I bought these to be worn as a Winter overpant with the expectation that I could get 3-season wear over-all out of them. The heavy duty nature of these pants and the lack of venting makes them a bit unsuitable for Summer months, but depending on your heat tolerance level it might be possible. I wear a 38 waist jean and am 6'3, 255 with long legs (35"), so I was concerned that the leg would not be long enough, a common problem for long-legged riders such as myself. The agent who assisted me told me that he thought it would be OK because of the easy-hem system. I ordered a size 40.
The pants fit perfectly, given they are being worn as overpants. I can wear them with the liner in, or over jeans with the liner out. Not both. With the liner in I wear a base layer. The waist was a bit big, but a belt fixes that. I love the liner. It is really warm, and I have ridden in 30 degree temps with no issues. You can pop the liner in and out at will, and you can wear it as a destination pant, as they have a decent cut and style to them. The shell is very well made. The 2000 material in the impact areas is nice to have and does not infringe on comfort or wearability. I did have to mess around with the knee pockets in order to position the armor correctly, but I eventually found the right spot. The leg did in fact turn out to be long enough for me, but I am not a huge fan of the hem system. I would have preferred it if they were just a tall pant, as the cuff kind of has an unfinished look to it. Besides, if you really look at the cuff I do not see how these could be hemmed at all, let alone easilly. But that is a minor gripe, the leg was long enough so I'll take it!
They have survived their first Winter very well. They are durable, and all of the zippers and stitching are dong great. I have been in fairly heavy rain on multiple occasions with them and they have not leaked a drop. As mentioned, they are very comfortable on which is great when you are on the bike all day. I was able to wear them right up to the Summer, so I am getting 3 seasons out of them. Sans the gripe with the cuff, these pants look good, perform well and are a great value for the price point.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I wear these in the Summer. Definitely better than other brands I have tried that could not hold up to robust use. These base layer pants fit on the tight side and so far are holding up really well. I ride every day and rotate 2-3 pairs and have been for over a season now. I do hand-wash them, however, as I don't want to risk sending them through a machine. The material feels nice against your skin and feel very good under your suit. Keep them away from velcro! The minute they touch velcro you will hurt the material peeling them off! I do wish the elastic in the waist was a bit better, but over-all these are very good base layer pants for Summer use and I will be getting more when these eventually wear out.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I got these to replace the Hip armor that came with my new Ranger 3 pants. The pads fit right in the pocket without even taking the original ones out, Talk about comfy! I don't even feel them but I feel better knowing that they are there providing the extra protection. I plan on replacing the hip pads on all of my pants with these.

This jacket has been a rock solid performer for me. I have had this jacket for 2 years now and it is still 100% waterproof. Nothing penetrates this thing; not rain, not cold, not flying debris. I have been hit with all of the above and the jacket just works. The weather protection is just wonderful. And it vents well. I love the front venting system especially. Having said that, I would not even consider wearing this jacket in the late Spring/Summer. It'll be too hot.
Sizing to me is true to size; that is to say the 2XL fit me just as I expected it too. A generous american cut, not some skinny euro cut! And there is adequate adjustment capability to taylor the fit to your needs. I really like the armor, too. It's comfortable and hits me in all the right places. It allows you to move freely and you know you have good protection. The pockets might be a litle small, but that is not an issue for me. And I have only had one inside zipper fail. All of the others are still solid.
Overall this jacket has provided tremendous bang for the buck and has exceded my expectations. I wish they made pants to match, but they don't. BUT THEY SHOULD!
Yes, I recommend this product.

I went with the The Rev!it Bastion GTX Winter gloves because I needed a glove that would stand up to rain and temps in the low 40s and 30s and so far nothing I had tried made the cut. The moment I put my paws in these I knew I had made the correct choice.
The visual aspects of these gloves are impressive enough and get even better as you really look at the way the glove is made. The materials and the construction are top-notch. This SuperFabric is wild stuff, man! I've never seen anything like it. I love the race grade hard parts and They have also placed reflective materials in key places on the glove which is a very nice touch. They feel very solid but not heavy, which is very good as that shows promise for good feel at the controls and so on.
My hand measurement is right at Ten inches, so I selected size XXL. They were just a tad snug but fit very well. What really impressed me, though, is how well the liners all held tight as I was slipping my hand into them and taking them off. There was no play or excess movement of the liner. and the liner feels very soft and pleasing to your hand as you wear them. I like the size of the gauntlets also. The initial feel of the gloves around the controls were a bit tight and a tad bulky at first, but this is to be expected as they are new and they are a winter glove. I suspect this will go away considerably once they are broken in.
The first morning out with them it was 46 degrees out, and with humidity the actual temp was about 42 with 8-10MPH winds. The ride into work was delightful; I never felt a lick of wind or cold during the entire 50 minute ride. I have been in even colder temps with them since and only the finger tips get a little sting in them after prolonged periods. And they hold up well to a good rain, so I have no doubts about the water protection. So if you are not into heated gear, these should do the trick. They did for me.
Yes, I recommend this product.

When I received these pants I was thrilled. The construction and material is top-notch. The liner comes out very easily and ventilation in the hot summer months is great. They have a great style to them and fit pretty true to size. I am a 38 waist but got a 40 to use them as a true overpant. They are just a tiny bit big but I think a 38 would have been tight to use as an overpant. The leg is nice and long which is important for a tall person such as myself. The pads fit in all the right places and give you a good sense that they will protect you if that moment ever comes. I'm thinking about getting a black pair as well! I would reccomend these to anyone.

Olympia Odyssey 1 Piece Suit When compared to the competition, the Olympia Odyssey one-piece suit offers unmatched levels of quality, venting and waterproof protection. Its 500 and 2000 Denier Cordura shell and seam sealed waterproof / breathable membrane enhance its function while four exterior pockets keep your personal gear safe and dry. As temperatures heat up youll cool down by utilizing Odysseys exclusive AVS shoulder to forearm and torso venting system. This system offers special water-tight zippers that when open, create major airflow directly to a riders body. Standing, boot-on entry is a breeze due to a heavy duty front zipper that runs from the torso to the knee and side leg zippers that extend from the waistband to the bottom hem. Features Outer shell constructed in coated 500 and 2000 denier Cordura fabric Waterproof/breathable membrane adds double waterproof protection Airflow Ventilation System at chest arms and back Double storm placket front closure Removable CE Motion Flex armor at elbows and shoulders Removable CE approved Motion Flex articulated back protector Removable and adjustable height CE Motion Flex armor at knees Removable EVA compression foam at hips Custom Fit detailing at collar, cuffs, elbows, waist and bottom hem Custom Fit, EZ Hem boot cut bottom Full circumference neoprene collar insert 3M Scotchlite reflective piping at front, sides and back Six storage pockets

Pretty loose neckline. Does it close up better than that?

Does the neck on the Odyssey one-piece suit close better than that? If you can't close it up so it's close around your neck not only will you freeze in the cold, it will bind on your helmet when you are trying to turn your head. Otherwise I like it.

Wondering how these compare to the Tourmaster Venture Air? Which would flow more air?

Hi there! Please disregard the first answer I provided you. I was writing a review on Winter gloves at the time and I guess I had that on the brain! :-)

The Air glides will work better in terms of air flow for sure. I have a pair and they are wonderful for hot weather riding. We get days in the 100s and they were great even in that heat. They also look very nice as I have received numerous compliments on them!
