Bell Custom 500 Skratch Matte Pin Stripe Helmet The Bell Custom 500 Skratch Matte Pin Stripe Helmet may be an homage to the first 500 helmet created by Roy Richter in 1954, but there is no way it is related to any corporate stuffed shirt pin stripe. With its chrome trim, black matte finish and red and white custom inspired graphics its vibe is entirely moto. While modern protective technology has been added the retro style keeps the original 500's aesthetic going strong. By combining a custom fiberglass layup with a specially designed EPS foam layer, Bell engineers were able to craft a helmet that is at once light weight, narrow in profile, and DOT-compliant. This helmet may look like something Richter formed but there is plenty of technology under the hood. Features Custom fiberglass shell Custom-quilted liner Chrome trim Integrated snaps for aftermarket shields and visors Padded chin strap with D-ring closure and strap keeper Five-year warranty Certification DOT Weight 880g

For my Triumph America, I've been wearing a Davida helmet from Great Britain but it is now 5 years old so time for a new"bucket". In looking at the Revzilla options, I felt like this was a good option, and a good value. Product service and delivery from Revzilla was outstanding. I like the Bell helmet, great graphics and look and it fits well-but -I will say it does NOT feel as high quality as that of the Davida but it is also over $200.00 less expensive and much easier and quicker to get. So, overall, I would recommend this for cruising in town or for short hops on the road. Still think I'd want "more" helmet for longer highway rides though.
Yes, I recommend this product.
