I looked at all the different brands of this style. All the other brands didn't fit as well or if they did the armor sat funny or wouldn't stay in place. This Fox one has the most amount of armor that stays in place and you can remove the back protector as well. Movement in the jacket it good. There is some minor tugging on the mesh at the elbows but thats only when you have your arms bent at a 90 degree angle. The jacket breathes really well and you hardly notice it when you are riding. You can wear a jersey over it but they have to be one size bigger to fit around the armor. I just wear a t-shirt underneath it and I'm good to go. The hardest part was trying to pick the black or the white.

fox titan sport jacket
is this thing applicable for street use? will it be comfortable? how does it compare to a-star bionic jacket?
i wouldn't wear it on the street. it's mostly mesh with plastic armor stitched or riveted on. I think once it hits asphalt it will be torn to bits. i think this is more comfortable then the a-star. plus it has better armor and more of it.

Abrassion Resistant?
Will this survive a street crash and protect agains abrasion?
since most of the jacket is mesh it will probably fall apart on asphalt but the plastic may hold up. this is more for off road i'd get something made for the street.
