I rode all the way form Texas just to see your store (not really) and I tried on every Gore-Tex glove in your 2010 winter glove guide video. The Alaska was your top pick in its class and rightfully so. Warmth and comfort are superb and It also has the protection features I love about the "Dirt" which is my summer glove. The gauntlet cinches up tight enough to allow me to pull the Gore-Tex liner of my Defender jacket over when the going gets wet. Outstanding glove/jacket combination!. Thanks!

The D616 has the most aggressive tread pattern available in a 180/55/17. It offers great road manners, superb wet traction and is reasonably good when meandering down an occasional dirt road. The front is still in pristine shape at 9k but don't expect more than 5k out of the rear unless you really baby it.

The DIRT summer glove offers the perfect balance between protection and ventilation. Lightweight mesh and perforated leather parts allow air to flow freely along the hands, keeping you cool. The level of safety is exceptional for a mesh glove, thanks to high-quality leather, dual-comp palm slider, Albany cowhide hard-shell knuckle, and PU-injected finger knuckles. The DIRT is comfort and safety rolled into one glove. PROTECTION Outer shell Automan stretch, air stretch mesh, goatskin, Albany cowhide (PU coated) Visibility reflection Protection Albany cowhide hard-shell knuckle, PU injected finger knuckles, EVA foam, Dual-comp palm slider Lining tri-fleece liner ERGONOMIC Fit tour fit Adjustability adjustment tab Ventilation ventilation panels Features short cuff

ALL DAY COMFORT! THE DIRT GLOVE IS THE PREFECT BALANCE OF PROTECTION, COMFORT AND VENTILATION - EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR IN A SUMMER GLOVE. NO WONDER THEY'RE IN SHORT SUPPLY.
Sizing: My hand measures 10.25" around - the XXL fits well (I wear a Large in most brands)
Pros Rugged, Great Value, Comfortable, Fashionable
Cons WISH THEY WERE AVAILABLE IN GRAY
Yes, I recommend this product.

Hi, I hesitate between Dainese Jerico new and Rev'it Alaska can you help me compare?

The important points are cold resistance (which one is the warmest) and protections (which one protects best).

Thank you!
I tried on both and while the Jerico is a great glove, possibly the warmest, I chose the Alaska because my Defender jacket has long sleeve zippers designed to go over the gauntlets for rain riding. The Jerico has a built-in gaiter inside the gauntlet that seemed a bit more complicated. Still, it was a hard choice.
