This is a really nice warm weather glove. Comfortable right out of the box (bag) and flows plenty of air, even behind my RT's fairing. Just be sure you order 1 size up from what you normally wear... For me this was easy since I know (from watching video reviews!) that I wear 1 size larger than Anthony does... ;-)

I've been running Michelins on my RT ever since I got it in '07, and I've always been very happy with them. So when I found myself in need of a rear tire without the money to pay for my usual, I did some research. Looked at the Shinko Raven, read reviews, and talked to a couple guys I know who have used them. What I found was, nobody had anything bad to say about them. So I decided to give em a try. I don't do track days on my RT, but I do ride pretty "spiritedly" on local mountain roads. I have only 1100 miles on it so far, but I've found it to be just as good for my needs as anything I've used before. I ride two up about 30% of the time with an extra 150 - 200 lbs (including my wife) on the bike. We just did 1000 miles this past weekend and the 009 Raven performed very well, wet, dry, or sandy. Put me down as not having one bad thing to say about them too!
I put Tread Life at "average", but I'm nowhere near the end of life for this tire. I'll have to revisit once it's used up.
To be clear, I only have the rear. I cannot speak for the front...
Yes, I recommend this product.

I was torn between these and another short "mesh" style glove, but I like the styling of these better, so I pulled the trigger on them. My hand measured a perfect Large according to the size chart, but when the gloves arrived (in only two days!) they seemed a bit tight. I wore them around the house for about 15 minutes before my fingers started going numb. Exchanged for XL and now my hands are happier... Except, the "pinky" finger is about 1/2" too long and the thumb 1/4" too long. Maybe I have wierd hands? Had to do some "surgery" to remove excess material that was causing "hot spots" on a couple of my fingers... Anyway, I wore them on a 300+ mile ride to test them out. They're not bad, but what I found is that my hands got clammy even though it wasn't particularly warm (60s F) and there doesn't seem to be much air flowing through them for mesh gloves. Maybe I'll revisit this after I've worn them in the heat... Too late to return them now, but next time I'm looking for summer gloves I will try something else... I still like the way they look though.

I got this jacket for my wife. I've had one for a couple of years now and am happy with the features and styling for the price. So when my wife decided she wanted a 3/4 jacket, this was her first choice. Luckily we got it while they are still available... And for a closeout price! This jacket is a good four season jacket. Nice and warm with the liner or when the weather really gets cold, a heated liner . It's a bit warm when temps hit 85 +. Above 90 you'll want a cooling vest. I rode through Baker, CA in 116F heat and was pretty comfortable with a cooling vest and the shoulder vents open. (as long as I kept moving!) The new Transition 3s are out now, so if you want one of these, you best act fast!

I've been pretty unhappy with the wimpy back protector in my Transition 2 jacket, so after researching this D3O armor and reading that it can be trimmed to fit, I decided to give it a try. What I found is, that it is actually quite easy to trim if you have a good set of shears. I used kitchen shears and they worked fine, so now the armor fits the pocket in my jacket.
One thing I was not expecting is how heavy this is. I haven't actually weighed the thing, but it feels like at least a couple pounds added when carrying the jacket. Once the jacket is on and I'm on the bike, I don't really notice the weight.
Is it effective? I hope I never find out!
No, i have not asked my wife to hit me in the back with a hammer...

I finally got my TCX X-Five Plus Gore-Tex Boots after a couple years of wanting them. I wanted them for sport touring. They look and feel very solid. They measure 12.5 inches form the floor to the top of the boot. I gave them a 4 in comfort, and they're not even broken in! I've only been able to take one ride with them (100 miles), and I must say they are a step up from my 4 year old boots. The foot bed is quite a bit stiffer and I missed a couple of shifts, but after I got used to them that wasn't a problem anymore. I was wearing them in 40F temps (dry) and my feet stayed quite warm wearing only a pair of cotton socks. I have not (thankfully) tested their waterproofness, but I don't think you can beat the price for REAL GORE-TEX, and I highly recomend these for for the (sport) touring crowd.

The wife and I have EXO 700s. We have a bluetooth com setup and were tired of the wind coming up under the chin and setting off the vox. It would keep her mic open all the time and was killing my ears. Bought these in desperation and whaddaya know... They work! Nice and quiet on a 1300 mile trip. In fact, I had to keep asking if she was still awake, it was so quiet!
They cut down on air flow in the helmet (good when it's cold, not so good in triple digit temps) but it was worth the trade-off for us.

These are the first riding pants I have had that are not baggy on me. I have a 36" waist 33" inseam and these fit perfectly.
Knee armor has enough adjustability so that I could put it just where I want it. Luckily I didn't need to go any lower as it is as far down as it can go. Because these pants fit right, the knee armor stays where it belongs.
The Airglide 3s don't flow as much air as my last pair of mesh pants, but they look and feel more substantial (and fit better) so I feel it's a good trade-off.
I think this may be the beginning of a beautiful relationship.

ordered XL for 6' 205 lbs. 36" waist 34" inseam. Though the waste fits well, these pants are a bit baggy especially when you remove the 2 liners. I got these so I can travel with a minimum of gear for all conditions. I'm pretty happy with them but for one thing... The knee armor hangs to the insides of my knees. This is the last place that will make contact in the event of a "get off". Tried repostioning them in their pockets, but no luck. I didn't have time before my trip to exchange so I got out a needle and thread and readjusted the armor. Much better, but I shouldn't have to do this. This is the first time I've been dissapointed in a Tour Master product. Your mileage may vary...

I am very pleased with this jacket. I bought it as much for style as function. Used the size chart and the fit is right on. At 6' 0" 205 lbs, I got a Large. Lots of venting to help keep you comfy. It is water resistant in short light rain showers, but if you get caught in a major downpour (I did), it gets soaked through pretty quickly. You'll want to have raingear on to stay dry.
RevZilla shipped it to me quickly as always.

How thick is the toe section?

I ride a Yamaha FZ6 and there have been several boots I have tried on that have too thick of a toe to comfortably get under the shifter. Are these boot desgined to work with the limited space that is available on a sportbike?
I don't know about your FZ6, but on my BMW R1200RT I had to adjust the shift lever up about 1/4" to get my toe under it. Plenty of room now.

Compatibility With Tourmaster

Would this protector fit into a transition #2 jacket from tourmaster without trimming? (Size XL)
No.
But it can easily be trimmed, and I trimmed mine to be larger than the OEM "pad" in my transition 2, which is a plus. I used kitchen shears, but heavy duty scissors should do the trick. It's not particularly pretty, but nobody's going to see it anyway.

I wear a 10 1/2 M shoe size, what size should i order of the TCX X-Five Plus Gore-Tex Boot

I usually wear a 10.5 - 11. I ordered 11s and the fit is just about right on the length. They are a bit loose on me, but I have narrow feet, so I'm used to that. It also allows for thick socks when it's cold out.
The really great thing is that Revzilla will exchange them for nothing, so if you get the wrong size, you can change it!
Hope this helps!

I'm a 33'' waist and I plan on wearing the airglide primarily in hot weather with no liner. Can I go with a size 32?

I doubt it.
I'm a 36 and ordered 36. I can get them on over a pair of denim shorts, but not with the liner in. An inch less would be uncomfortably tight for me.
On the other hand, Revzilla has a very good return policy...
