I love this helmet, simple as that. The only thing I can critique is the D-ring closure and the price. At this price point, I'd like to see a better closure system. Something like a quick release/ratchet. This helmet should cost about $100 less than what it does, and probably would if they'd cut back on the frills. Two visors, a cleaning kit, a poster, color booklets, decals, hand tool, sweet helmet bag, fancy box and packaging...all this stuff adds up and isn't really necessary, but it felt like Christmas morning when I opened it up and kept getting surprised with the little goodies. As nice as they are, just put a helmet in a cardboard box and I'll be equally happy with the $ I saved.
As always, revzilla's service was phenomenal and the videos on each product are a key selling feature for me.

I just finished a 9 hour round trip with this pack. I was able to fit my service dress and 2 ABUs with room to spare. The pack stays securely to your back with zero shifting or lifting, even at speeds in excess of 100mph.
The armbands can be a bit time consuming and cumbersome to strap on and off. They are Velcro but its hard to hold one side still and pull the other side tight for a snug fit, especially since you can only use one arm. They are detachable so that is nice for those who may not want them on there as they are cosmetic and for visibility purposes only.
Overall, best pack I've owned. I am just unclear if the gray color meets mil spec. It's reflective but not high vis in daylight.

I bought this along with the fixed shield version to mount to my Bell 500 helmet. The lens is a light smoke, so you can still see through slightly. I really liked the visor at first, but during my first ride, the ratcheting system weakened and the visor blows up every time you turn your head. turn your head back and it slaps back down in your face...making lane changes a pain in the rear. So unless you plan on sticking to city streets, find a different visor. I looked but see no way of tightening the ratchets.

Does this helmet come with the smoke shield as shown in the picture?
Comes with a clear shield installed and the smoke shield is included. It's a dark smoke. Hides your face, but not good for night riding at all.

Helmet Review?
Looking to see the difference between this new Variant helmet against the previous versions, also I've seen some people say that it runs a size bigger?
Slightly bigger. I went down a size and it was a very snug fit. If you are a larger medium you may not want to order a small. If you are a smart medium then I'd order a size down.

Does this specific one or any of the variants come with a chin skirt?
This one does indeed come with a mesh skirt already installed.
