I've been using it for a few months and Revzilla's review touches on a few of the features, but this unit has a lot of personalization, which can only really be stated. I'm new to using a unit, but it is a great feeling when traveling. The best is when a call comes in and I'm cruising. Most people say its not a problem, I'm using the Velcro mic, not the boom.
Read the instructions, throw your phone in a bag and you will be set. Just don't change the language like I did, so I'm getting a Spanish lesson, no big deal. They have apps for Mac & PC to use for upgrades.
This is one of the best parts of riding and worth the money!
Techs at the shop say they have a great support.
Get one!

Arai Defiant Helmet - Solid Colors Designed specifically for the aesthetics and needs of street fighter and naked bike rider in mind, the new Arai Defiant is equally aggressive and feature rich, as one would expect from a new Arai helmet. Based on the fit and comfort of the Quantum, the Arai Defiant was built for the upright riding position with its aggressive, integrated chin spoiler, which was designed specifically to guide wind around the neck and to improve the aerodynamic properties of the helmet. The Hyper Ridge Bumper circles the bottom of the shell both adding additional strength and also lowering the helmet's center of gravity, while flaring the helmet opening slightly to increase the ease of putting on, and taking off. The Arai Defiant utilizes Arai's latest faceshield design, the SAI Max Vision Pinlock Shield with Brow Vents and includes Pinlock insert lens. The SAI Max Vision shield has been widened by 5mm left and right and offers one of the widest eyeports available for excellent peripheral vision. Features Aggressive new styling Internals are redesigned with a focus on safety and comfort Organic shell shape for superb energy management New IC-4 Upper Intake vents seal more completely when closed New ACR-4 flow thru exhaust vent allows greater air flow when open and reduces drag when closed FCS R (Facial Contour Support) cheek pad design has 5mm peel away micro fit layer for greater personal fit Cheek pads feature contoured shape, multiple density foam layer supported by a patented spring New shell shape is easier to put on and take off New water repellent material along bottom edge Pull down spoiler works with new flared bottom to increase helmet stability SAI Max Vision Brow Vent Pinlock anti-fog lens insert included DOT and Snell 2010 certified

Too loud. Too loud. Too loud!
I have a 2005 HJC that runs more quietly than this bucket. Granted, there are more air options, but really the decibels inside this helmet would be deafening on long trips.
I'm using a summer screen in an upright position on my bike. No matter where I place my face, noise!
It's a sad day for me, I shot my wad for this helmet and RevZilla didn't have it in stock. So I had to move on to other options, sae price. I've already pealed away cheek pad layers, so no matter it cannot go back.
I hate insurance, and that's basically what a helmet is, and just like insurance I have to have it.
Bad buy for the ears. I really don't know if I could hear a car horn next to me. Good thing I'll have a safe helmet on when I don't .
