 Bell Vortex Attack Helmet
Bell Vortex Attack Helmet
Bell Vortex Attack Helmet The Attack Helmet sports another military inspired graphic in the Bell Vortex Helmet line. This graphic is available either in gray scale or red/white/gray and features raised graphics along the seam lines. Bold stripes along the back of this helmet serve a dual purpose as a design element and to boost visibility via their reflectivity. Bell Vortex Helmets provide a lot of value for your dollar because they are packed with features also seen in their big brother the Star. Check out the features listed below and you will see why these helmets are the complete package. Features Velocity Flow Ventilation system with FlowAdjust for maximum stability and temperature control with minimal noise and buffeting Lightweight composite polycarbonate alloy shell Contour cheek pads (by means of stacked foam, not hand cut) Removable and washable, antibacterial/antimicrobial interior comfort liner Padded Wind collar to drastically reduce wind/road noise Integrated speaker pockets for audio speakers ClickRelease for the fastest, easiest, tool-free shield swaps ever Clear NutraFog II superior anti-fog, anti-scratch and UV protected shield. Dark tint and other shields available for purchase separately Padded chin strap with D-ring closure and strap keeper Five-year warranty Approximate weight 1600g Comes with clear faceshield only Certification Snell M2010, DOT Our Opinion of the The Bell Vortex Helmet The Bell Vortex Helmet has grown to be one of the top selling and more ubiquitous 200 sport helmets in the RevZilla family. The light weight, Snell Rating and ability to use the Bell Photochromic shield allow the Bell Vortex Helmet to cover a lot of the bases the typical sport or track day rider is looking for in a reasonably priced helmet. Many times we see this type of functionality only available in helmets over the 300 mark. In the 3/4 or tuck position the Bell Vortex Helmet will provide a great solution in just about any spirited or sport riding scenario. If you find a graphic or color that suits your taste and you have an intermediate oval head shape, the Bell Vortex is a great option.

I'm very impressed with the quality and fit. View is average or slightly better side-to-side, but outstanding out the bottom, where I can see my tank mounted instruments without ducking my head (usually) while on my cruiser. Magnetic strap holder is maybe gimicky, but works well. A bit noisy at the top vents, even when closed, but not annoying at all and I have already tuned it out. All vents work very well. Chin curtain comes installed and is removable like the liner. The paint job looks GREAT. the small reflective strips on front and back do reflect, but not like, say, Scotchlite. Friends say it's reasonably noticeable on the road, but not as much at a glance as solid white (I'll take that for how awesome it looks). Visor is extremely good quality, and has not fogged on me yet. Wish the visor tab was a little bigger. Balances well, not too heavy. Doesn't do weird things when I turn my head, and the chin doesn't jut out and hit my shoulders.
Yes, I recommend this product.
