I've owned a few Shoei helmets in the past...RF200, X10, X11 and now the GT Air, as well as helmets from Arai, KBC, and a few others. Fit and finish is exactly what I expected from Shoei, which is top notch. I purchased this as I was looking for something more designed for touring vs my X11. Another review made a comment about not enough venting to counter TX heat; there is no amount of venting in a full face helmet to counter TX heat. That being said, I can feel the air vents working as I ride in 100 degree heat indexed weather. The inner visor is a nice feature, eliminating the need to carry a 2nd visor for when the sun goes down. The GT Air meets the expectations set in the Revzilla video review and my own experience with Shoei. If you're looking at one of the upper tier full face helmets, the GT Air is an excellent choice for a commuter or touring helmet.
