Shogun Frame Sliders Suzuki GSXR 600 / GSXR 750 Shogun sliders are superior to other slider brands by virtue of their construction and material--shatter-proof UHMW infused with UV protective polymer. Shogun sliders absorb kinetic energy from crashes and will not shatter in cold temperature like some types of Delrin or fade in the sun. Each slider has a press fit aluminum bushing to hold it in place during impact to reduce the risk of the slider puck or spool tearing off of the mounting point. Shogun frame slider offsets are CNC machined from the same grade aluminum as military aircraft. Offsets are anodized black to match OEM components. Each offset is manufactured to stringent specifications with ISO 9000 quality control. Each Shogun Frame Slider comes with high tensile strength corrosion resistant hardware (cheap imitators do not use high grade hardware and will quickly rust). Shogun uses socket head bolts in nearly every kit, allowing for stronger frame slider design in a more compact space. Newer applications of Shogun Frame Sliders make use of a counter sunk design, which distributes the force of impact over a wider area and gives additional strength to the system so that the puck remains attached to the motorcycle. Designed by racers, sold by racers, for the serious rider! Sold as a pair Note Carbon S5 Frame Sliders include a black anodized T-6061 aluminum end cap.

I went with the Cut sliders as i've heard the no-cuts don't protect the frame as much as they have a possibility of coming off on impact.
Understanding that I had to drill into my fairings to make this product work I was a little reluctant but knew with better protection it's the better investment (also it's much cheaper than the no cuts due to less hardware).
Instructions were mildly clear. What I found useful is having a friend help out. And instead of the punch tool they recommend in the instructions, I went with a laser pointer. placing the bike on a stand to it stands vertical, I used a laser pointer to line up with the frame bolt. From there I placed the fairing back on (clips only no bolts) and marked my spot. I drilled a 1 inch hole then used a dremel to open the hole larger until the slider fit in snug.
Gives my bike a nice clean factory look.

these gloves are amazingly comfortable. I usually wear mediums in other brands but Large in the AStars worked perfectly.
Plenty of airflow especially thru the fingers makes this the ideal summer gloves. I've ridden in temperatures ranging from 35 - 80 degrees and it's perfect for the hotter climates. No sweaty hands after riding. Once you get below the mid 40s, there's so much airflow thru the fingers and gloves your hands WILL get very cold. And because of the race style fit, it doesn't allow much room for cold weather lining underneath.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Fit
Small
Slightly Small
Large
Pros:
- with the slightly smaller fit (get one size up from what you normally wear) its a perfect snug fit that doesn't require a lot of "break-in" time. comfortable right out the packaging.
- full protection similar to a full race suit without having to wear riding leather pants - as there is a zip up option on the bottom of the jacket for the pants for track days
- no need to layer up as there isn't much air flow (except for the arms) so it keeps you warm with just a t-shirt underneath from temps ranging from 40 - 65 degrees (testing thru Mt. Shasta, CA)
- aggressive riding position and sleek yet simple design
Cons:
- gets too hot when reaching into the 80s (degrees)
- the white leather (i have the white/black/blue) gets dirty around the back of the neck and bottom where the sides are
- zipper stay velcro strap is a little flimsy
- with the wrong type of helmet, a full tuck position is nearly impossible as it hits the speed hump
Yes, I recommend this product.

The Shoei-RF1100 is great in simplistic styling. I am a fan of less is more in helmet design and the RF1100 offers just that. Simple sleek lines, with a good amount of air flow. Easy to use visor lock (even with gloves on). Comfortable padding inside for a nice snug fit. Semi-aggressive angle on bottom of helmet to be able to get in a nice tuck position with have a speed hump on jacket (I ride with an Alpinestar GP-Pro jacket).
Lighter weight makes its more comfortable for long rides (old helmet with a Scorpion EXO-1000). And with less mechanisms on/in on helmet makes for a nice quiet ride as well on the freeway.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Searching for a good beginner helmet without spending over $350, the EXO-1100 is perfect. It's a little heavier and more noisy than the high end Shoei and Arai helmets but also half the price.
I have an oddly shaped oval head and big on top but skinnier face/cheeks so finding a helmet that fit that was tough but thanks to the EXO-1100 inflatable cheek pads that wasn't a problem at all.
I use the U-Clear HBC200 blue tooth unit and i can hear calls perfectly below 45 mph. Above that gets a little hard to hear.
The drop down visor has come in handy on sunny days but sadly losing SNELL approval (hence the one star drop).
I haven't had any fog issues either so that's great in this seattle weather!
Yes, I recommend this product.
