I discovered this little gem after I made the decision to buy the SENA SMH10-11. It is a very simple and easy solution for a Goldwing rider who would like to go to Bluetooth headsets in order to talk to (non-CB / Goldwing) riders or passengers via bluetooth but also still want to listen to their integrated Goldwing electronics.
I believe SENA intends for this to be used with their Bluetooth transmitter http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/sena-sm10-dual-stream-bluetooth-stereo-transmitter , and the cable is too short to use it as is, but by adding a female to female adapter and a 2 ft. 3.5MM stereo audio cable (or a 2 ft female to male cable) you can attach to SMH10 headset via the Aux port on the back of the helmet mounting plate. This enables me to listen to all of my Goldwing electronics with good sound quality via the helmet speakers. The only drawback is I can not transmit over the CB.
I was very happy just to find a simple and relatively inexpensive solution to maintaining use of my Goldwing electronics (except the CB) while moving to Bluetooth headsets.
One note of caution: I have not yet tried listening to my Goldwing electronics while using the intercom riding with my friends. I think this may be mutually exclusive, but I'm not sure.

Happy with my purchase...I have a slightly round 2 XL head and this fits perfect. I purchased this based on previous experience with an RF1000 and the reviews regarding good airflow. I ride a Goldwing and I'm very pleased with the airflow and comfort. If this had an integrated sun visor, I would never look at another helmet. It would also be great if it came with a pinlock shield... Maybe the RF1200 will add these features???

I was looking for Bluetooth headsets to use with my Goldwing and other friends who ride Harleys and BMWs. We just used the SENA system on long rides through the Sierras and were generally very happy with the results although with some notable issues. The pairing was easy but a bit confusing with just a quick read of the instructions but even still we could always seem to make it work between the 3 of us adequately. Although at times the other two riders could not hear each other when I could hear both...We suspect operator error which would probably be resolved with a more careful read of the instructions. Just wasn't a big issue most of the time. Also in the mountains the range is limited to perhaps a quarter mile given one or two turns with obstructions (trees or terrain), but this was not too much of an issue for us. I also like the easy pairing with my iPhone and hands free operation with SIRI. The system is very simple to operate and I suspect with more experience and a more careful read of the instructions I will figure out some of the quirks we experienced. All in all I am very pleased especially with the price as compared with the Cardo system, although I have no doubt that is an excellent system as well.
Installation in my Shoie RF1100 with wired mic was very clean and easy and my friends both installed in Scorpion EVO IIIs using the boom mic and was also fairly easy.
One complaint: The talk time is listed as 12 hours, but on two consecutive days with full charges I only got 8 - 8.5 hours before running out of battery. Also the low battery warning only gives you maybe 10 minutes of warning. The other two guys with the same system never ran out. We were wondering if that had something to do with my unit being the "hub" or "master"...just guessing here.
Another unexpected bonus for a Goldwing user: After deciding to go with the SENA I discovered SN10 DIN cable for the Goldwing http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/sena-sm10-din-cable-for-honda-gold-wing This allows me to patch all my on board Goldwing electronics into the headset via the wired AUX port on the back of the mounting plate. This gives me all the function of a Goldwing wired headset with the exception of speaking over the CB radio. I believe SENA expects you to use this with their Bluetooth Transmitter but by buying a short extension cable I am using it wired and it works fine. Very nice surprise! (One note...I did not try using this while using the intercom feature with my friends, so not sure if that would be an issue or not).
