I like the look and feel of these pants a lot. The kneepads sit a little low when I'm walking around, but are perfect on the bike. The stitching was a little loose at the fly, though, so that when I first put them on they started to unravel slightly. It hasn't gotten worse, so I've chosen not to worry about it. The vents are pretty good, but only cover your thighs and behind, so I find myself sweaty after a ride.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I haven't done a ton of rides with the Alter Ego, but it's been awesome so far. With the shell off, the airflow is stellar. I got a medium, which fits my 6'0" 185lbs well. With all the different layers, I feel like it could be an only jacket for three-season riding.
Yes, I recommend this product.
