So I just had a get off. Sucks for me, but good for you because I put this jacket through the test.
Going 30 around a corner I low sided mainly sliding, but rolling at least half way. My back, left shoulder, and face (of helmet) took the brunt. No abrassions, broken, bones, etc. The textile and armor did their jobs through and through. At a higher speed or other circumstances I could see the upgraded back protector being of use, but the pad it came with really helped. Glad I had it.
I was going to post pictures of the jacket, but there isn't anything to show. It looks brand new other than the debris. Once I clean it there will be no signs. My helmet is another story. In comparison my jeans tore open (as expected), and I have a good case of road rash.
I live in the Northern Bay Area of California, and even though it is the summer we still get into the 50's in the morning and night. This jacket kept me warm with the liner in and cool enough on humid 90 degree weather with it out. Love it in white. People spoke about how easy I was to see.
Can't recommend enough.

I originally purchased a speed and strength helmet, but when it arrived I couldn't even get it on my head. I ended up taking the cheek pads out and it fit perfectly else where (I later went to a store and tried different sizes on and even the next size up I could not get on but was too big around the forehead). I do have a round face and large cheeks. Another problem I had was that my mouth slightly touched the front (I do not have a pointy face or long head -- I am on the edge of being a round head although still an intermediate oval).
When I called in to exchange this Shark helmet was recommended to me as I was looking for something with sun visor. I bought the white and love the look. It fit my face with plenty of room in the front. I installed a Sena Bluetooth with headphones instead of speakers to start with since it does not have recesses for the speakers. It ended up being a bit uncomfortable with the ear buds I have, so I'll try the speakers next.
With the buds barely in my ears I could hear the bike and other vehicles around me just fine, but the wind noise was minimal at worst and the drag was also almost not noticeable at 55mph. The venting did seem to work on this 90 degree day.
Overall, it is a very comfortable helmet with all the features I needed, although it would have been nice to have ports for speakers.
(NOTE: Apparently since it is a new product getting accessories is slow, and shipping on my helmet was slower than usual as it had to come from Shark, and they will not ship directly to a customer).

Update
Posted August 21, 2013
Recently had a get off and it did its job. Early off it rolled from the shoulder of my couch to the cushion. This tore the left side of the face shield off at the mechanism! This worried me and I almost sent it back before being able to get it back together. In the crash I ended up sliding on that side of my face and it held together fine. In the end the paramedic said that if it wasn't for the full face helmet I would be missing the left side of my face.
The negatives for the helmet were as follows. Fogs up easily, a bit of distortion with the visor down, no recess for speakers in the helmet and little room to route wires. The visor creates a bit of a pressure point on the forehead, nothing to bad, but after an hour you feel it a little. I have a light bruise there from the crash.
In the end, it does what it is made to do, has a visor, and was relatively comfortable, especially for the price.
