Michelin Pilot Road 4 Front Tires The Michelin Pilot Road 4 tires represent the latest iteration and next generation of Pilot Road evolution. Designed to deliver maximum safety in most conditions especially on wet roads and in particular when braking, Michelin's goal is to cover all riders in all conditions. Touting both enhanced safety and extended tire life, the Pilot Road 4 tires are a tangible illustration of Michelins Total Performance strategy of constantly and simultaneously improving tire performance characteristics across the range. Feels like good grip with these. I loved the PR3's which lasted as long as any tire I've tried (mostly Michelin PR's).
Those stuck like mad and I got 10K mi rear and 12K mi front with a little tread left. Not sure I love the tread design visually as much but that counts for squat. If I hate them I'll update my review.

Michelin Pilot Power 2CT Rear Tires Michelin Pilot Power 2CT tires add two-compound technology to the already renowned Pilot Power range. While 2CT technology originated in MotoGP racing, Pilot Power 2CT tires are intended for the most demanding sportbike riders, who use their bikes both on the road and for track days. Its tread surface is divided into three separate areas, incorporating two different rubber compounds. This helps provide numerous benefits in terms of dry grip, lean angle, handling and progressive acceleration and braking on wet surfaces. Features Real Moto GP technology from the tire company that has won 15 consecutive GPWorld Championships 20 softer rubber mix on the edges of the tread yields phenomenal cornering grip Unprecedented lean angles 51.2 degrees in the dry on Michelin's test track Precise handling and feedback Lap times within 7 of Michelin Moto GP slicks when fitted on Colin Edward's Yamaha Moto GP bike at Malaysia's Sepang circuit in February 2006 Track Day tire that is equally at home on the road

Fit

Slightly Small
Large
Don't kid yourself about the fit of these - these are slim! Size chart is no B.S. I'm a 32X33 jeans and I squeeze into a 48 long.
The 50 long was a good fit but a little tall, I'm sure I would find the 50 regular too short (I don't have tall boots and short pants don't do it for me period). The 48's are snug, but no way I can fit jeans (or shorts for that matter) under the 50's so stayed with the 48L. Not an overpant. Beyond the fit these are the real deal. With liner OK into the 40's, have been in light rain, no probs. Haven't been in heat or downpours. Feels like armor would stay in place in a get off, and leather feels more reassuring that textile. The rain liner will be more of a seasonal swap than daily or just for rain - can't see stopping by the side of the road, stripping down to skivvies to add the liner.
Yes, I recommend this product.
