REV'IT! Sand Pants The SAND Pants offer 4-season, year round comfort and protection from both pavement and the elements. The SAND Pants offer a double PWR/shell seat and PWR/wax coating on the inside of the legs, for a better grip on the bike. The legs are also versatile thin enough to wear inside the boot, but wide enough to wear over it. Watercatchers prevent water from creeping up into the leg, and a detachable thermal lining and removable 3-layer membrane round out the total comfort of the SAND trousers. I've had my Sand pants for just over a year now. Initially, I really liked them: the styling is awesome, the fit is good and it seemed like a great product. Unfortunately, I actually ride my bike and after a mere 8 rides the stitching in the inner leg and front zipper both failed, just came completely undone. I don't really think this is acceptable, considering I used them for their intended purpose. And I really can't be bothered to go through a return process - shouldn't have to with a suit in this price range. Very disappointed. Next time I'll buy Klim.

Maybe I have freaky-long thumbs but I found them very tight across the thumb span. I ordered a large accd'g to the size chart, but found the thumb way too short. I exchanged them for an XL and found them much better. Surprisingly, the other finger lengths weren't all that much bigger than the large so now they're a great fit.
Otherwise, a great glove especially for the price; seem to flow a lot of air and protection where it's needed.
Pros Rugged, Great Value

on the sand pants, is there a separate liner for waterproof or should they be waterproof on there own?
They are definitely NOT waterproof on their own. Trust me on this one.

Can these pants be put on and taken off over your street clothes and riding boots?
They will definitely go over boots (I have Sidi Adventures). Pants shouldn't really be a problem either, at least not with the liners removed. The cold weather liners make a pretty big difference in the fit, but I'm guessing you'd still be okay.
