This is my first Gmax Helmet, I bought this because it's a cheap helmet in my book and has a lot of features. Also, a free tinted visor is a plus. However, you do get what you paid for.
Fitment: My crown measurement is a 22 1/2 and was recommended a M which fits great but the cheek pads are a little thin compared to the Suomy helmet and there's room for ear piece so it doesn feel a little empty, less dense. But i think the crown fitment is comfortable.
Quality: You're paying 112~ for a helmet thus the quality is on the cheap side. Maybe being a solid matt black it feels cheap but the paint is pretty durable. I think any other color would last longer than the matt since there is a clear to protect the paint. Down side is that exit vents on the back of the helmet has mesh screen glued on them and on my 5th time using it I was hearing popping noise. I thought something was wrong with my bike but it was because the mesh screen were coming loose it was flapping in there. I need to talk to Revzilla about this, hopefully they'll guide me to glue those meshes back together.
I had no problem seeing out of the tint visor at night, it's actually really good for night riding too. And swapping out the visor is pretty quick. The chin vent seems to close it self all the time and it looks crooked in my opinion. I'm a OCD person and although it opens and closes fine, it looks crooked haha.
Conclusion: You do get a lot for a $112 Helmet and tbh it's good for what it is. Could be improved.
