First off some details,
so you understand where
my perspective comes from:
I am 30yr old male.
5 foot 7 inches 184lbs.
Size 10.5 (US) Feet
From: Washington state.
The temperatures have ranged from 30F to 79F. I was caught in MANY rainstorms the last few times I rode. I have also enjoyed many sunny days as hot as 79F
I have used this shoe in many riding conditions for hours at a time for a few months now. I feel after this much time I can give an accurate review.
Fitment:
My feet measurement is 10.5 but I ordered a 11.
Size 10.5 fit perfect at the store! I ordered the 10.5 at first but with the recommendation of Revzilla staff, because I was going to add a 3rd party sole, Superfeet, and summer Rev'it Socks I could move up to the size 11. The other two boots I had used extensively are the Icon Super Dutys, and the Sidi Vortices. Compared to the Super Duty they are WAY more comfortable and more protective. Compared to the Sidi they are less protective but way better for everyday use.In fitment the TCX is very similar to a hightop shoe that is comfortable at the ankle but very protective at the heel an toebox I would DEFINTELY recommend getting a insole such as SuperFeet if you plan on walking around. The footbed is flat and simple. It is nothing that will give you pain relief over the long term. When in the upright riding position on my Suzuki GS500 it was very comfortable. I would only feel tightness if I stood up or tried to stretch my foot, obviously this does NOT MATTER because the only position it should be judged upon is the riding position. DO NOT judge a boot if it’s tight when you are walking around. The shoe is meant to be in the riding position but its comfortable enough to be standing up for an hour or two walking around the bar or outside.
Ventilation:
The air flow is somewhere I think this boot lacks. Remember there is no increased ventilation you can buy. Compared to perforated leather shoe or a textile riding shoe this lacks ANY airflow. It is not incredibly bad but I can imagine in 90+ degree humid weather, such as Florida or dry heat such as Arizona, it would be uncomfortable to say the least. For my weather in Washington though it was completely fine. I bought the shoe for protection and for the rain. The airflow was sufficient. I haven't had an issue.
Water proof:
The shoe performed perfectly. I bought it exactly for those times I would be in Seattle and it would rain. One day I got caught in a huge downpour. Every part of my body was wet except my feet and head. I would like to add that even in the rain I got airflow. It did not feel like I was in a rubber suit sweating. It was comfortable and warm.
Build Quality:
The build quality is great! There are many fine details Anthony covers in the video review. Suffice it to say I did not think this shoe was lacking in anything here. It was above and beyond what was necessary. There are plenty of points of protection, you should add a insole such as SuperFeet if you plan to walk around, it is waterproof, and with the separate riding socks you could even make this shoe usable in 70+degree weather.
Overall, I really like this shoe. All the functions advertised by TCX are true to their words and I'm glad I chose this shoe my guilty pleasure.
Yes, I recommend this product.

40inch chest
39inch waist
From: Washington state.
The temperatures ranged from 50F to 88F. I was caught in one rainstorm the other times there was a lot of sun and humidity on some days.
I have used this jacket for about 3 months now.
I feel after this much time I can give an accurate review.
Fitment:
My chest measurement is 40inches, my waist is 39inches”
Size 52 FITS PERFECT! I feel very protected and it gives me a feeling of invincibility. I ordered the 50 at first but with the recommendation of Revzilla staff, Andrew, he said because I was going to add a chest and back protector I could move up to the size 52. The other two jackets I had used extensively are the Icon Contra TEXTILE MESH jacket, and the Dainese Racing Leather Jacket. In fitment the Galactic is very similar to the Dainese Racing Leather but not as skin tight. The jacket, as explained by Anthony in the videos, is a sport oriented cut. This means that it will not be skin tight like a proper racing leather jacket. When in the upright riding position on my Suzuki GS500 it was very comfortable. I would only feel tightness if I stood up or tried to stretch my arms, obviously this does NOT MATTER because the only position it should be judged upon is the riding position. DO NOT judge a jacket if it’s tight when you are walking around. The jacket is meant to be in the riding position not talking to people at bars or the bank.
Ventilation:
The air flow is somewhere I think this jacket lacks. Remember you can buy a COOLING VEST INSERT to incredibly increase ventilation. Compared to perforated leather jacket or a textile jacket this lacks airflow. It is not incredibly bad but I can imagine in 90+ degree humid weather, such as California or dry heat such as Arizona, it would be uncomfortable at anything below 25mph. For my weather in Washington though it was completely fine. I bought the jacket for protection and the airflow was sufficient. I only had an issue in stop and go traffic. Anything about 20-25mph and the jacket had average to above average ventilation. Remember any jacket will be hot in stop and go traffic no matter what jacket. I would definitely buy this jacket again.
Water proof:
The jacket performed perfectly. I bought it exactly for those times I would be in Seattle and it would rain. One day I put the waterproof liner in and I got caught in a huge downpour. Every part of my body was wet except my upperbody and helmet. I would like to add that even in the rain I got airflow. It did not feel like I was in a rubber suit sweating. It was comfortable and warm.
Build Quality:
The build quality is great! There are many fine details Anthony covers in the video review. Suffice it to say I did not think this jacket was lacking in anything here. It was above and beyond what was necessary. There are plenty of pockets, you can add back protector, it is waterproof, and with the separate cooling liner you could even make this jacket usable in very hot weather. One thing I did not like was that the neck liner on my jacket felt rough. It is mentioned in the video it is supposed to be soft but mine was rough. After about 2 weeks riding it though it became softer. It was a not an issue after 2 weeks. My riding conditions have been 45 deg. F to 88 deg. Fahrenheit and the jacket has been great. Around 50 degrees, I just close the zipper and my body feels nice and toasty. At 75 degrees or up, I just open the zipper a little.
Overall, I really like this jacket. All the functions advertised by Rev’it are true to their words and I'm glad I chose this jacket my guilty pleasures jacket
Yes, I recommend this product.

First off some details
so you understand where
my perspective comes from:
I am 30yr old male.
5 foot 7 inches 184lbs.
21.5 inch head, according to the measurement
above the eyebrows, which Anthony suggested.
From: Washington state.
The temperatures ranged from 50F to 80F. No rain. A Lot of sun.
I have used this helmet for about a month now.
I feel after this much time I can give an accurate review.
Fitment:
My head measurement - 21.5”
I ordered the medium at first but it was very tight. I returned it and then ordered the large. A mistake, I should have stayed with the medium as the large is now just a bit loose. I also would have had a lighter helmet!
Weight:
I don’t have much of a comparison but I had previously worn a exo 400. I would say the Gt Air Journey was light for the size. It also included MUCH more soft plus padding, sun visor, and much quieter interior. Like I said I should have stuck with the medium and I would’ve been much happier in the long run. I didn’t realize you could buy different cheek pad sizes. They are expensive but worth it. My father currently rides with me and he has scorpion helmet. He has neck problems and he said using this just one session made him realize how much of a difference weight makes.
Ventilation:
“I can't believe how much air flow this helmet offers. I can feel the immediate air flow through the back of my occipital which I couldn't before. The designs of the vents are amazing since I can open/close with minimal effort while wearing gloves.” I could not have said it better myself.
Quietness:
This is one of the things I noticed immediately! Coming from the exo 400 I felt a very significant and noticeable drop in decibels from my motorcycle. For reference I ride a 1991 Suzuki GS500. Not the loudest bike but I was more worried about road noise; Cars, wind noise, trucks, screaming engines. This is easily one of the best things about this helmet.
Build Quality:
Awesome. The plastics and shield feel SOLID. There is no squeakiness or cheap parts. It feels like an Apple IPhone in its construction. I hate iPhones but there is no denying they are an amazingly constructed product.
Riding:
“My riding conditions have been 45 deg. F to 80 deg. F and the helmet has been fine. Around 50 degrees, I just close the vents and my head feels nice and toasty. At 65 degrees or up, I just open the vents and more riding I go. Wind buffeting is much better with this helmet (maybe because it's smaller).”
I would add that I cannot completely close venting into the helmet from the jaw. The top and back are completely closed, if you choose so, but the jaw still emits air either up into the shield to into your face. Also the padding is just the nicest helmet padding I have ever felt. It is extremely comfortable even for 5-6 hour rides as I have done. I get many compliments on the helmet as well. I chose the red/white/blue combination. The pin lock shields add on is freaking amazing. I used it for about 2 weeks without installing it. Immediately after installing it even on the most humid, cold morning not once did I have a single square millimeter of fog. It is the single best investment if you have ANY issue with fog. It is incredible. The last thing I want to touch on is the visor. It has saved me many a time from being practically blind when facing the sun. It’s a great addition to the helmet and is certainly very useful.
“Overall, I really like this helmet. All the functions advertised by Shoei are true to their words and I'm glad I chose this helmet as my guilty pleasures helmet.” I wholeheartedly agree!
Yes, I recommend this product.

I ride a 1991 GS500E I have been using these for about 200 miles now. They come highly recommended by other GS riders. www.gstwins.com.
Price: 4/5 Basically very good bang for the buck
Quality: 5/5 They came in mint condition and fast
Use: 5/5 I have ridden them in a bit of rain here in the PNW, on asphalt the grip is awesome. I am by no means a racer or agressive rider but these feel great. I highly recommend them myself. I will probably end up getting again in the future
Long post: So basically when I got these i rode them for about 50 miles. The first 25 miles or so i took it easy on them never even reaching 40mph. After i had driven sufficiently far enough i jumped on the freeway and headed back home. At this time they were very warm but not completely broken in. On the twisties when i was going slow they had great grip and i never felt the bike give any ways or indication of losing control. On the freeway they were very quite and the bike was very stable. The cuts on the tire are made for all season but dont get me wrong. These will not help you in snow or dirt. They are a everyday commuting tire and nothing more. Excellent for that use. I would say they are great in the rain but not excellent.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought this item after watching the review from Anthony. The fit is exactly as described by Anthony. I ordered an XL after using the size chart. This is my first gauntlet glove and I am very happy with my purchase. I believe this glove should last at least 2 years with standard use. I have worn it in very light rain and 85degree temps with no issues. In WA state though our air is a little more cool/chilly than usual. I would definitely buy this glove again.
Yes, I recommend this product.
