I purchased this jacket because I have owned other products from Teknic and I have been happy with all of them. I went to my local shop and tried on a bunch of different jackets. I found myself in the classic up-sale trap. It was a starting jacket at $250, then if you want airflow it was $350, then if you want a little protection it was $550, and so on. I found that if I wanted something that had a good fit, airflow, decent protection, waterproof so I don't need separate rain gear, quality construction, and a zip-out cold weather liner, I was at least at a $900 and maybe even $1,300 for a Klim. I was so frustrated that I left the store and went to checkout reviews on Revzilla. After watching the review I ordered the jacket. I was blown away by the features and quality of this jacket when I received it. Do your own research, try on everything, and then try on this Teknic. This is comparable to the $1,000 jackets at a quarter of the price!!
Yes, I recommend this product.
