I bought this helmet after doing a lot of online research and in-store fitting of helmets. This is the first helmet I've owned but not the first I've used. I have to say that it is a great value. As a new rider I didn't want to spend too much money on a top-of-the-line product like an Arai or Shoei, but I wanted something that looked good and gave me good performance for everyday use. I use my bike to commute to work, which is a semi-upright riding position. This helmet has pretty decent aerodynamics at moderate speeds. From low to mid 60's the venting is great, I can feel the airflow around the top of my head and on my face. The shield has never fogged on me and I ride in extremely hot and humid weather. At rest the venting isn't great and I have to pop the shield to let some air in, but that's to be expected with a budget lid. Fitment is true to the size chart. My head measures just over 22.5 inches and the medium fits perfectly. The padding on the top of the head could be a little better, but it's never uncomfortable. The wicking liner has always kept my head dry, even in weather approaching 100F and 80% humidity. At speeds reaching 90 mph and over the aerodynamics of the helmet aren't fantastic but I don't think the helmet is really made for that. Venting isn't optimal in full tuck, for that you'd need a more race-bred helmet.
All things considered this is a great value for the money. It serves my day to day needs perfectly and I'd only consider a more expensive helmet if I were going to the track.

When I saw these gloves I thought they would be good enough considering the price. I have to say I'm impressed. The quality and finish of the gloves is excellent. They are lined inside to prevent direct contact with the leather. The seams are small and do not create pressure points with your knuckles. The gel on the palm is thin enough that it doesn't get in the way of using controls but not enough padding on the knuckles to consider the protection any more than average. I really like these gloves and I'm glad I got them. My only complaint is that the ones that I received had a very strong chemical smell when i opened the package. It's probably from the leather dye and I'm guessing it will dissipate with time. It's gotten better, but they still have it.
