Over the years I have had the opportunity to wear many different types of jackets in many different scenarios. I can say that this jacket is my most preferred jacket for any type of riding that I am doing; street, around town, off-road, adventure, etc.
Yes, it's heavy however once you put it on, it sheds the heaviness with excellent weight distribution. If you use the kidney belt it feels ever lighter.
The armor feels solid, the nice reflective strips across the back and arms, as well as throughout the jacket, help you feel visible while riding. It does extremely well in downpours yet when unzipped handles 100+ temps really well, too! It's the best of both worlds.
Yes it's expensive, but it's all relative I feel. You're investing in your safety. And you're purchasing a high-quality jacket. Completely worth it. I love the jacket, Klim nailed it perfectly!
Yes, I recommend this product.

These pants are great. If you're on the fence about spending the money on them, I say go for it. They are excellent at keeping you dry during large downpours (I have experienced this 3 times thus far) however they also have great air flow when the venting is unzipped. I did a ride out to Ocotillo Wells in 100+ degree weather and while hot, the pants were not unbearable to wear.
You feel like a tank in them, as well. Their protection feels solid and the reflective piping is a nice touch. The reason for a knock on the 'comfort' rating is due to the stitching irritating my right knee where the protection pads are. I only experience this when using the pants over shorts, otherwise it goes unnoticed. I should take the time to investigate rather than complain, but you know how that goes.
Klim does it again!
Yes, I recommend this product.

I've been riding for a while now and up until recently I've always used Ogio packs. I'm upset that I didn't switch earlier! This bag features their QUADLOC system and this alone is worth the money -- load this pack full of heavy stuff and literally forget you're wearing it.
What the bag is missing, and the reason for a dropped rating under 'Bang for the Buck,' is the quick stashing pockets and handy compartments. So for your money spent you're essentially buying one huge compartment with a quick stash pocket inside as well as the sleeve to accommodate a laptop. If you're into the Ogio style of having way too many pockets than you know what to do with, then do not buy this bag. However, I bought it knowing this lacked cool little pockets and trust me: once you've worn it, you won't go back. I've read other reviewers state the bag doesn't stay on unless latched...I can't say I experience that. But perhaps they aren't wearing a leather jacket? Mine stays on, latched or not.
You can probably stop contemplating, buy this pack, and never look back. Money well spent!
Yes, I recommend this product.
