My first gloves were the AGV Raptors, absolutely loved them. My mom decided to get me another pair to replace the ones I got since the Velcro was wearing out. Well the ones she ordered had a defective strap so AGV replaced them with the Intrepids.
These gloves are such a letdown coming from the Raptors. The fit is inconsistent at best. The thumb is extremely tight and the pinkie has far more material than necessary. It feels like the side that my thumb is on is an extra small and the side my pinkie is on is a medium or large.
On top of that, the material feels extremely thin, almost as if I could tear the leather just by flexing my hand. The skid plate on the wrist (which was a nice feature of the Raptors) is missing in this edition, instead replaced with some flimsy padding.
Just holding it, you can tell the glove is of extremely poor quality. And for $100+, that's a joke. I wouldn't feel safe riding with these. A lot of the padding is missing in the Intrepids, with the wrist and palms minimally covered. The vents in between the fingers (which again, the Raptors utilized) is also missing. The fingers in this model no longer have pieces of armor going up all three digits and instead are replaced with this very small and cheap feeling piece of plastic on the first digit of the finger, and very thin padding on the second digit. And unlike the Raptors, the pinkie is almost completely unprotected aside from the glove material. There's no armor plating, not even any padding to protect it. The pinkie has the absolute minimal protection you can get from a glove.
It's so disappointing to see the drop in quality in this product, considering how amazing the AGV Raptors were. Do NOT buy this glove, you WILL regret it. If you can somehow find a pair of Raptors in your size get them; however they're increasingly hard to find nowadays since their discontinued.
But if this is the product that AGV is now going to make and stand behind, you can bet I'll be looking into Dainese or some other brand now.

I needed to get a cover for my 2000 Ninja 500, as I don't have room to keep it in my garage and she's forced to stay outside. I saw this cover and decided to give it a try and bought the Sports size for my bike.
The cover fits perfectly well, even though I modified my bike to accept frame sliders. One thing about the cover I noticed at least is that it looks considerably different than the photograph they have pictured. My cover came and is completely black, there isn't a reflective silver lining around the bottom as pictured, and after trying several positions, the only one that fit my bike correctly had the grey, plastic,Dowco air vent positioned right next to my left mirror; rather than being positioned right about the seat.
So it's not exactly as pictured, but it's been a great cover so far; it's been raining a lot here and the cover has done an flawless job blocking out the rain.
Yes, I recommend this product.
