When I went out looking for a new short cuff glove, I was specifically looking for good knuckle protection, as well as a large amount of airflow due to spring and summer riding months. The SMX-1 fit the bill perfectly, and did it at an amazing price point - I probably spent almost double this on my last gloves, and frankly, these are better.
Size-wise, I typically wear somewhere between a L and an XL. In XL, these fit SLIGHTLY large on me - which tells me that an L might be uncomfortably small.
Comfort-wise, these flow air incredibly well. I detest sweaty hands when riding, and these feel like you're wearing virtually nothing at all. They look good, too! Also, I've noticed occasional binding of the fabric around my thumb where it meets my palm - likely a side effect of it being slightly large. My only other gripe is that some of the seams could be sewn a bit better, as I've felt them on occasion.

Arai Pro Shade System for SAI-Compatible Helmets Nowadays it is quite common to use a retractable sun-visor that is situated between the helmets outer- and inner shell to protect against sun glare. However, it is Arais opinion that this construction could affect the performance of a helmet during impact. As the Pro Shade System is completely mounted on the outside of the helmet, it will not in any way negatively affect the performance of the helmet. The Pro Shade System is a small peak that is locked in position. Unlocking is easy just pull the Pro Shade System forward, then it can be flipped down with a flick of the hand to act as an effective sun-visor. The Pro Shade System is the complete all-weather system for serious touring riders, offering protection against sun glare, fogging and misting, especially for riders that prefer an upright seating position and/or the comfort of a fairing, the Pro Shade System will enhance the riders comfort significantly. Features: Fits all Arai SAI full-face helmets including the Arai Corsair V, Vector 2, RX-Q, Arai Signet-Q and Defiant Complete system, pre-mounted on clear Arai MAX Vision visor (included) Compatible with Arai SAI Max Vision Pinlock Inserts With Brow Vents (sold separately) Enhanced aerodynamics Increased helmet stability Removable for easy cleaning No contact with visor: no scratching

After getting eye surgery years ago, I'm virtually dependent on having some form of tinting on my visor on a sunny day. Tinted lenses are always an option, but I don't particularly enjoy bringing an extra lens with me at all times. Furthermore, safety is always a concern for me, so Arai maintaining their SNELL rating on their helmets is important as well.
I feel the Pro Touring visor was an excellent compromise, and a fantastic upgrade to my helmet. Some people may think it looks silly, but it works! The shade is extremely easy to operate, and it's a quick swap to install it onto your current Arai helmet.

This exhaust was perfect for my wife, who is still becoming comfortable with finding her friction zones quickly. It was very cheap compared to other options, and I feel it sounds great (admittedly, I took her bike out just to rip it around a while and enjoy the noise).
It's not the PRETTIEST option, certainly, but as an overall package, I feel this was an excellent purchase.

I bought the silver/black Tornado outfit specifically because of how bright and obvious it is. It hasn't disappointed. If you follow Revzilla's fitting guide in their video, the gear will fit perfectly - mine sure did, and I have an odd fitment generally.
The airflow is amazing! I've never had gear that breathed so well. I've ridden a couple of times in 90 degrees so far this year, and it's amazingly comfortable. Before, it may as well have been a furnace to me...

Sadly, I've been cursed with very wide feet, and it seems that shopping for motorcycle boots is a challenge on that front. I bought these boots as I'd read that Alpinestars is one of the better options for people with wide feet. I typically wear an 11.5W, so I went with the 12, and it actually fits surprisingly well!
I've yet to have to ride in some very warm weather, but I cant imagine they cool very well at all, being water proof. In 50-60 degree weather though, they are amazingly comfortable and a pleasure to ride with.
