Dainese Carbon Gore-Tex X-TRAFIT Gloves The Dainese Carbon GORE-TEX X-TRAFIT gloves have been specifically designed for sports-like, adventurous riders looking for waterproof gloves that keep them warm and dry whatever the weather conditions. These gloves offer unparalleled feel on the grips thanks to the use of a waterproof, breathable GORETEX membrane featuring XTRAFIT technology, which means the membrane is attached directly to the outer surface of the gloves, thus preventing any potential sliding in the palm when the hand is rotated. The gloves are finished in cow hide and goatskin which provide excellent abrasion resistance and supple softness. The excellent protection is further ensured by reinforced palms, carbon fiber inserts over the knuckles, polyurethane inserts on the finger joints, the use of a Distortion Control system for the little fingers and soft inserts. This exceptional glove is rounded off with elasticized inserts at key points to ensure comfort in any riding position. Protection Composite inserts in carbon fiber on knuckles Polyurethane inserts on the joints of the fingers TPU inserts on side of little finger Distortion Control on little finger Polyurethane insert on the palm Gloves certified to CE Category II - Pr-EN 13594/2010 Standard lev. 1 Main Materials Cowhide leather Palm in goatskin Reinforced palm with Digital Suede and Amica Suede Ergonomics and Comfort Tightening strap Adjustable cuff strap Microelastic elasticated inserts Elasticated inserts Pre-curved fingers Breathable waterproof GORE-TEX membrane with X-TRAFIT product technology Soft inserts Cover on the tightening strap Denoted as Dainese Carbon Gore-Tex X-Trafit in Dainese catalog

Bought the same size as my other Dainese gloves and the fit is the same. Have yet to try them in the rain, which is what I bought these specifically for.

Ordered a size large to wear over my euro size 58 leather jacket with a hump on the upper back. Fit is excellent, not too large, not too small. Have not tried it in the rain yet, but looks well built and finished. I like the fact that it zips together with the Sentinel 2.0 pants so the jacket will not creep up your back as you are riding.

Have not tried them in the rain yet. Seems well built. Originally ordered a medium size, waist and inseam were OK, but lower leg was too slim to fit over my leather pants with knee pucks and sport boots. Exchanged the medium for a large, fits snugly over the leather pants and sport boots with knee pucks removed. One other thing, given the rather slim cut and the lining in these pants that tends to catch on your boot soles, they are probably not the type to quickly don by the roadside.

Bought the Full Metal RS to replace my old Full Metal Pro (the Pros lasted me 3 seasons and 30K km / 20K mi). These offer superior protection. I particularly like the improvements made for the ulna protection (larger hard plate), little finger distortion preventer and the hard plastic slider at the base on the palm. The leather flap that covers the wrist cinch strap is also a nice touch. The cuff is a tad longer than on the Pros for better coverage.
Yes, I recommend this product.
