Had this helmet about a week now, got it at my honda dealer but thought id review it for yall anyway. Im comparing it to my previous lid, an exo 1000 I've been using the past 5 years. I did a lot of research before buying this helmet and had read a few harsh reviews. I bought this helmet mainly for it's reputation for being quiet, and it's just that. No creeking, whistling, and wind noise is minimal, it's like being in a car. The ventilation is unimpresive, as the front vent only vents to the shield and the top vent only gets the top of the head. Other reviews mentioned the ventilation being bad, but it's all part of the quoet design, as it is just as quiet with open vents as closed. The pinlock works well and is totally unobtrusive once in. It's my first pinlock and it goes on easy and I've found it to work just fine at night. Shoei put absolutely no anti fog on the visor, it fogs incredibly easy. You can be moving along in warm weather and it will fog without the pinlock in. I dont think they could have sold this helmet without the pinlock, it's a necessity not a bonus. This can also be attributed to the quiet, no air in or out design. The visor works far better than the one on the exo and is dark enough that people can't see through it. It cuts through wind a little better than the exo did. It fits snugly and is comfortable for long rides. I didn't rate durability high because the matte black finish has already got perminate scratches and scuffs. Just touching it give it a smudge that will remain until it's washed. It looked amazing and stealthy out of the box, but now looks like a kid with popcorn fingers has had his way with it. I doubt the finish will last past a year or two, it's bad, even as matte black goes. The exo had an industry leading anti fog visor, comfy removable lining, vented decently, a far more smudge free matte finish, and was sub $300. The only problem was it's deafening noise at speads over 55. The gt air is by no means twice as good a helmet, but it's ten times quieter, and thats what I wanted.

I went with these tires over the pirelli angel gt because I wanted good grip and decent durability. My previous set was the regular michelin pilot power (not 2 ct), they were grippy enough and gave me plenty of confidence, but I went through two sets that barely made it past 3000 miles. I wanted sport grip with touring durability and thought these would be the best of both worlds. So far they're doing well, I have almost 1000 miles on them already and they look like new, big difference already over the last set. Ridden in rain 4 times so far and they did very good, however I rode cautiously because their slick racing style side won't likely channel water well. They turn in very easy, perhaps too easily at first, but very comfortable after they break in. They haven't gotten "greasy" as people saythe last generation of this tire did after hard riding on hot roads. I'm no knee dragger and I haven't done any track days with these but I'm very satisfied with how well they handle speedy commutes and twisty mountain roads. Recomend these to any sport rider who's looking for performance as well as value (heard these tires will go 7k-9k before showing wear bars!)

I ordered the size 44 even though I measure closer to a 42, the fit is great because it runs a bit small. This jacket looks awsome! I get compliments from all kinds of peope, from the cute cashier at the convenience store to other riders weearing 500 dollar alpine stars jackets. The built in six pack is great, makes me feel like batman on a bike! My only gripes would be that the pockets are really small and that it isn't hard to find flaws in the stitching. Otherwise it seems to vent well enough and seems durable. Lastly I would caution taller riders that this jacket is quite short even on me ( 5'8).
