This went into a Joe Rocket textile jacket (don't remember the make but it also fits a leather Blaster).
I first ordered a forcefield sport lite back protector but mis-judged the size (001) from the Joe Rocket literature, so be sure to check the size of the actual pad in your jacket. That being said, I replaced my order with the full CE level 2 (size 002) pad which fit just fine and gives me much more confidence.
It is very flexible although I take greater pains when I pack this into my hardside bags than I ever did with the OEM foam pad to keep from developing a fold.
It does appear to have more airflow as there is at least some porosity that with a OEM pad and having CE level 2 is just that much better..
Wish I'd had this upgrade to my armor when I went to CA Superbike School (although I didn't need it then).
Yes, I recommend this product.

This replaced the armor in a Joe Rocket textile jacket. Fit perfectly and feels much more robust. No first-hand testimony as to its effectiveness. Did fit well in the pockets available without a problem. I feel much more secure.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Don't believe the Alpinestars sizing! Revzilla knows better.
I'm a size 10 so my first pair was a Euro 45. I swam in these.
I then replaced them with a Euro 44 which Alpinestars says is a US 9-1/2. Right. It's still slightly large for a 10. No way is it a 9-1/2.
Just beware. Otherwise is a good boot. I especially like the Velcro on the zipper which keeps it from opening again.
Only negative is that the lower height of these boots means that the tops catch under the drag points on my footpegs when at a stop. (VFR 800). Just have to remember to swing your feet way when you start.
Yes, I recommend this product.
