After passing on the Alien for a couple years I finally decided to pull the trigger and get one. Took a ride yesterday after the UPS man dropped it off. It was 98 degrees ( too hot for leather jacket riding). I would normally be wearing my Dainese Air Flux in this kind of heat but since I just got my Alien had to give it a go.
I get going out of my neighborhood and I could feel the air flow at 30 mph which was impressive. The interstate isn't far and once I hit cruising speeds (65-75 mph) the jacket is really breathing. This thing would be perfect in 70's or 80's.
The jacket is very stylish and comfortable. It wears a bit on the large side. I'm just over 200 43 inch chest and a 54 has a relaxed fit. I could have went down to a 52 but it would be snug. I have a Super Speed size 54 and it has a very aggressive race fit and its perfect.
The Alien is a beautiful jacket. Upon my inspection of my newly received jacket I notice a scratch/scuff on the shoulder slider. Its not terrible but I noticed it right away. I called Revzilla and we worked it out right away. If something goes wrong ZLA makes it right. Thanks for running an honest business.
I really got what I wanted from this jacket and can't wait to see what Dainese will come out with for 2014.

I hated sending this shirt back but it was either that or give it to my wife and she didn't want it. 2XL's and 3XL's probably sold out long ago as people purchased and exchanged for appropriate sizes. I ordered XL and was very disappointed that it was way too small. I really do like this shirt and I don't think 25 bucks is a crazy price for a name brand t shirt. Too bad it didn't work out for me. If you're buying these shirts go up 2 or 3 sizes.

These are an extremely expensive pair of gloves to protect the most vulnerable part of your body in a crash. It really doesn't get more technical than this. How can Dainese justify a 350 dollar pair of gloves? Because the first thing we instinctively do when we fall is put our hands out to break our fall. Imagine life without your hands. Yeah... they're worth the investment. These gloves have a race fit and will fit a bit tight when you first put em on. They will break in a little over time but they also feel really good right out of the box. I will only use these gloves on the track as they're so aggressive in style and function. They look amazing just sitting on the shelf and have this awesome new leather smell that Dainese is known for. Incredible details from the finger tips to the palms. Even the stitching stands out. Dainese makes the most attractive and functional gear out there. Don't waste your money on the other stuff.

The Dyno's are a great addition to my collection. After a short ride today I'm loving the mix of protection and movement these boots offer. They have all the solid protection points that the TRQs have and give my calves a break from the stranglehold. Perfect blend of comfort and safety.

I'm gonna turn down the AC so I can rock this bad boy! Its a little expensive but i like the Dainese brand and know they make comfortable, stylish, long lasting products. This hoody is well made although my Dainese logo seems excessively washed off. I realize now they're all different and therefore unique. I actually would prefer an unwashed look to the logo but overall I really like the hoody and don't regret buying it. I purchased the black one since I couldn't find any other color. I would have bought a gray and a navy one if I had the choice but I have been watching this product for months and they never came back in stock. Seems Dainese only made a limited supply exclusively for the die hard hoody connoisseur. More likely I'm just late to know of there existence. Anyways, glad to add this to my collection of Dainese gear/clothing. What will they do next?

These gloves fit me spot on. Really easy to get on and off being short cuff. The protection is there with slider on the palm and distortion control for the little finger. Goat skin feels great and you get good response from your controls. For me, fit is everything and these gloves are really comfortable and light weight. They're a step down from my Full Metal RS gloves and yet I find myself reaching for these more often than the RS race gloves. Perfect street glove.

The Shield seems like a solid back protector. I wear this in my Super Speed Leather and Air Flux Jacket. Its a snug fit and I think thats the point. It flows enough air to keep heat from building up on your back. I chose this protector over the wave due to the larger coverage area. A good buy.

Got the white and black shoes. I dig the nod to the Axial Pro styling. They're very light weight and flow a good bit of air. Great fit and comfortable. I really like this shoe and would buy again. I'm not a fan of all Dainese shoes but this one really stands out.

Another very nice glove from Dainese. Quality material on the palms. Decent air flow but not as much as you would hope. I would describe them more as allowing your hands to breathe. Its hot right now in Texas so its hard to tell how effective they really are. The fit is comfortable and the styling makes them my favorite mesh glove. When matched with my Air-Flux jacket and my Short Shift shoes they complete my summer riding outfit. The net mesh is attracted to velcro and will cause slight frizzing if it catches. No big deal, just a heads up. I got what I expected and overall I do like the gloves.
