TheBatman's Reviews

Icon Alliance Speedmetal Helmet It was once said that slow is good - but we all know fast is better. And so it is with the Speedmetal. The next generation of full coverage tonality from the Icon Alliance mind. A deviant interpretation of life beyond societies norm. Tracks spiraling out of control from the deepest thoughts of a riders mind on to their helmet. Tracks reminiscent of backbone - the kind of backbone found in spirited riders. Indeed...fast is always better and the Icon Alliance Speedmetal Helmet does fast. All world standard, meets or exceeds the following DOT FMVSS 218 (US), ECE 22-05 (Europe), SAI AS1698 (Australia) and SG (Japan) safety and testing standards. Does not ship with SAI or SG certification stickers unless purchased in that country. Injection molded Polycarbonate shell Wind tunnel tested and refined Molded twin channel supervent for increased cooling Rear exhaust ports prevent heat buildup Internal on/off cheek exhaust switches Removable molded breath deflector Chin venting system reduces shield fogging Fully removable/washable HydraDryTM interior Quick-change fog-free eye ProshieldTM ProLockTM secure shield locking system

This helmet took about an hour to break in the pads and then it felt amazing. I didn't realize I had the shield down because it was so clear and didn't distort my vision at all. It does look a lot cooler with a smoke visor but the clear works perfect.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I rode with these gloves for about a week then I got caught in the rain for a good hour and when I took them off my hands were purple from the black die on the gloves. I dried them out and they seemed to stay the same size. I like these gloves cause they flow a good amount of air and are light. One thing I do not like about them is the seem on the inside of the fingers, it's like it goes under my nail every time and is an annoyance. If they had the stitching on the outside it would be fine. Overall these gloves are worth the sub $50 range.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I got these boots before I took a motorcycle safety course and I loved the way they hugged my ankle and lower calf nicely. I was in the rain for over 4 hours and they did not get wet and they aren't even waterproof. I was overall happy with the boot, price, shipping and everything else.
Yes, I recommend this product.
