90% of my riding is commuting with weekend rides in the canyons on the twisties. I ride a Hayabusa and was a little worried they might bind a bit while in the normal riding position. No problems at all. Also, I'm 6'4" and 210 lbs. It is EXTREMELY difficult to find pants that fit my long inseam. Most other brands look like I'm going clam digging when I put them on. The pant leg cuffs rest just below the ankle while standing with the knee pads just at the bottom of my knee caps. When in the riding position, the cuffs rest at the ankle and the knee pads are exactly in the right position.
I don't know that I would wear the liner as a "destination pant" as the write-up claims. I think it would just be strange hanging out in nylon pants with a zipper running down the leg, but the option is there for you folks who think that might be cool. But, with the liner installed, the pants are indeed wind and water-proof. Take out the liner (it only takes a minute or two) and these pants breathe extremely well. I can even wear shorts under these to head to the beach and not worry about road rash. The pants are quick on and off with my boots on since the side zipper is so long. And the construction seems spot on so far.
They fit true to size. I wear a 36-36 pair of jeans and ordered the 36-Tall overpants. They fit just right over my pants with just a smidgen of adjustment on the waist pull tabs. The pass-through pockets work great if you are wearing jeans. If you are wearing a uniform or slacks with side entry pockets, you'll work a little bit to get anything out of them...but it still works.
The reflective tabs are low key until you hit them with lights. They reflect EXTREMELY well. The waist snap and velcro closures at the cuffs are also reflective.
Overall, these are a great pair of over pants that are designed just right to be easy to get on and off so you can always dress for the slide.
Yes, I recommend this product.
