My wife and I do all our long distance travelling on our 2010 Concours 14 these days and while the saddle bags on the Connie have lots of room, it’s just not enough for both of us. I’ve been looking for the right top-case to fill that need for additional space, yet be true to the styling on the Connie. The E55 Tech case fit the bill perfectly. Very modern/sleek styling and all the bells and whistles one expects from GIVI. The brilliant latch system is great and allows you to quickly remove the case and carry it away like a suitcase. The case is made of solid construction and there is minimal flexing when used with the SR410 Rack Mount. I highly recommend the SR410 as it provides an integrated platform between the bike frame and the case. I also purchased the backrest (pricey, but an essential comfort accessory for pillion), the liner, and the stop light kit. Each of these accessories fit perfectly with the case. The case is huge and holds both my XL and my wife’s medium full-faced helmets with ease. It can even accommodate lightweight, but bulky camping gear including our ALPS Zephyr 2 tent. I am sincerely pleased with this purchase and how well the case works/looks with the Concours.

The GIVI E111 backrest presents a sleek look on the E55 tech case and the style/color scheme work well with my Concours 14. If you ride pillion, this is an essential comfort accessory (especially if that passenger is your significant other!). Installation was very simple using the included template and simple to understand visual instructions. The backrest material and mounting look very durable. The neutral silver and black colors should work well with any bike. My wife and I have made several long distance rides since installing the backrest and she appreciates the added comfort factor this accessory delivers.

This rack provides a solid platform for the largest GIVI cases (I mounted the E55 Tech Case) and maintains the visual styling of the Concours 14. I did a lot of research before buying this rack kit and found some reports of consumers skipping the rack install to mount the rack plate onto aftermarket racks due to the challenging installation. The install can be challenging, but the instructions provide visual descriptions on what to do and the results are awesome. The rack becomes an integral structure of the frame versus just hanging off the rack. The result is a solid structure that provides a great sense of security.

I bought these pants to go with the silver tornado jacket. I have a 43" true waist and the Euro size 58 fit me with room to spare (comparable fit to an XXL in the JR Phoenix pant). Just like the jacket, these pants (without liners) are great for the summer heat. Lots of airflow and very comfortable all around. I found the lighter silver really a tremendous comfort improvement over the 'look-cool' black, even in steamy city traffic. All the adjustments are well thought out and I especially like the inner zipper that extends from cuff to crotch... makes getting into and out of these pants with my boots on a breeze. The bottom cuff can be cinched down w/the Velcro adjustments and still maintain good style. Combined with the matching tornado jacket this is a great combo for style and comfort.

I'm a big guy (~50" chest, 40" waist) and buying Euro sized jackets can be challenging. I was pleased when I found that the Men's 58 fit me very well (comparable fit to an XXL in the Phoenix 5.0). It definitely is more 'boxy' as Anthony points out in the video review, which means it's not 'form fitting' but the adjustments let you fix that. Let me tell you after numerous long rides wearing black in high summer temps, the silver jacket is a welcome addition to my gear ensemble. The jacket has great features and is well made. I especially appreciate that it is incredibly light and refreshing with the inner liners removed. The liners are quality too and are everything Anthony says they are in the video. This is well worth the money for excellent protection while keeping the rider comfortable.
