I've been riding with this helmet for about 3 months now and it's been the best I've owned so far. Every helmet I've had before was polycarbonate , so the lightweight composite shell was a nice upgrade. I like the vent feature of the shield lock, but the lever feels cheap and the screw holding it down has loosened itself to the point of almost falling out a few times.
Its internal shape fits my long oval head comfortably and my big chin doesn't stick out of the bottom like my previous Bell Vortex. Venting definitely keeps air flowing at speed, but as others have said, the liner blocks the top and forehead vents so you can't feel the airflow directly on your head.
I love Bell's buckle system. The tab built into the d-ring and magnetic strap keeper make it very quick to don and remove. It's wicking liner does a great job of keeping the sweat off your face and dries quickly. The shield change system also works very well. It's easy and fast.
It is noticeably quieter that the Vortex, especially with the chin curtain installed, but I always wear ear plugs anyways. You definitely get more wind noise with the top vent open, but this is expected and I have not experienced it rattling when closed as others have.
The last small issue I have is with the dark smoke shield I purchased. In direct sunlight it seems like there is a film inside the shield. It creates a foggy, distracting blur. I think it may be the anti fog layer. I don't have the issue with the clear shield though and the sun has to hit it at just the right angle, so it's not a deal breaker. The anti fog works very well too.
Don't let these small gripes discourage you from buying though. The overall quality is on par with helmets that cost hundreds more. It would be perfect if not for its few small design flaws, the illogically designed head liner blocking the vents being the worst. It is currently the best helmet I've owned.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Replaced the worn bt 020 on my Kawasaki ninja 650r with this. The linear stability greatly increased, as did it's predictability in turns. It's smooth at speed and the shop didn't even need to add weight to balance it. I also hope to get a longer life out of this heavier duty tire on my lighter bike.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Fit easily into my AGV Sport jacket with minimal trimming. It's much thicker than the flimsy foam it replaced, but because it is so flexible it's barely noticeable. It can get a bit sweaty when it's hot out, but it's not as bad as bigger level 2 protection. I had my friend hit me in the back with a hammer and could barely feel it, so I know it works. The only downside is that it doesn't cover as much of my back as other level 2 pads might, but it's fine for street riding. I also had to trim about an inch off the bottom to fit it in my jacket, so that's partially my fault.
Yes, I recommend this product.
