Was hoping this would help with some of the wind buffeting on my FZ6. I have the stock windscreen and I get a little noise and wind and was hoping this would either push it over my helmet or clean the wind up a bit. It maybe changes the wind by about 5-10%. Not a huge change. I actually thought it shined for use in slow traffic or when it's really hot and you need extra air. I can funnel the air directly at my chest and stay pretty cool on really hot days. Having the wind hit you full force also cleaned up the wind buffeting. Not very useful in the cold but it does help. Just don't expect it to be a miracle cure.

Bought these in hope of them keeping the wind off my hands so I can extend my riding season. Once I put them on the bike I just new they wouldn't hold up to Interstate Speeds. They are fairly rigid but they would basically be getting full wind blast at 70+ mph for extended times and I suspect they would easily collapse into my front brake causing my lights to come on. Never even rode with them. They seem well made and if you were doing in town commuting or already have some barkbusters or storm guards, these would be a great accessory. They just won't work for what I had intended.

Tried these liners out in an effort to save some money and get some use out of my winter gloves I already have. These are fairly bulky, they didn't seem bad just trying them on but once I went on a ride the thickness proved to be too much. Fit wise, I think they fit pretty much right on. I have a normal sized medium hand and the small mediums fit fine. They have a little stretch to them so I would aim for a tighter fit over a larger fit.
My winter gloves have some extra room inside to give some dead air and keep my hands insulated better, I figured these would fill the space and get me some much needed heat. After about 15 minutes on the bike I started to get tightness in my palms. There was just too much material and I was fighting to keep my hands around the grips. It wore my hand out and I had suck it up for the remainder of my 50 mile commute.
I ended up going with some Gerbing Heated gloves for about double the cost. They are very comfortable and even less bulky than just my standard winter gloves.

Seems like I've tried everything in my pursuit to extend the riding season as long as possible. I've had cheap insulated gloves, expensive insulated gloves and I've tried heated liners and latex glove liners. Most of the insulated gloves worked great down to about 40F, lower than that and cold/discomfort would set in, regardless whether they were $80 gloves or $150 gloves. I tried heated liners in an effort to get the most out of my expensive winter gloves but that just added way to much bulk and after about 15 minutes of riding my palms would be aching.
So I finally said "screw it" and spent the money on these gloves. I have an older model PowerLet heated jacket liner a buddy gave to me so I already had heat control. So far I've tested them down to 32F and my hands are nice and toasty. No issues at all. The heat seems to emanate from the heel of your palm, but it still keeps your digits warm. I suspect I can easily get down to the thigh 20's before I start to feel discomfort. If I had better wind protection (hand guards) I could probably go colder supposing my toes stay warm and my visor doesn't fog.
If I would have just spent the money right off the bat for heated gear I probably could have saved myself a couple hundred dollars. Buy once, cry once.

So I purchased these liners to go with my Powerlet Jacket. Its an older model but I assumed it would function just fine with these liners. Like someone else mentioned the plug ins are Male. My jacket is Male. So unless I want to buy an adapter and have more bulky wires hanging around my wrist I cannot use these liners. I don't know why Powerlet would change the adapters on their liners when every other heated gear manufacturer uses female gloves and male jackets. These will be headed back to Revzilla unfortunately and exchanged for some FirstGear liners.
Other than that they fit well, nice and smooth. Fit under my gloves just fine. I don't have a male-male adapter so they never got plugged in but if they work like my jacket they probably get very hot.

I don't have access to a garage so my poor bike has to spend all of its time outside. During the riding months its not a big deal since I am always riding her and a little rain never hurt anything. In winter I don't have any other option for storage, so at the suggestion of Revzilla I purchased one of these covers. Works great, keeps the snow and rain off the bike. We had some very windy snow storms last year and I never had an issue with this cover. It stays put. I bought one for a previous bike but sold it along with the bike. Just purchased 2 more covers for my new bike and my SO's new bike. A great alternative if you don't have a proper shelter for your bike.

I bought these because my SO is just learning to ride a motorcycle and thought they would be handy so we can communicate. Installation is super easy, and it doesn't take up much space or catch the wind. Sound quality isn't amazing, I think the only way to truly have perfect sound would be to use these with earbuds. I get a lot of wind noise in my helmet due to where my windscreen throws the wind and sometimes its difficult to hear the headphones. The best way to combat this is with earplugs, they help drown out the wind noise so you can hear the headphones clearer. My next step is getting a taller windscreen so I clear out even more wind noise. The controls are super easy to use, Siri works well, the mic does a great job of clearing out unwanted noise and just picking up your voice. I love mine, I can listen to tunes, talk to people, get directions, I can share my music with my SO when we ride together. Upgrades are pretty easy and straightforward.

I originally wanted Dainese boots but was worried they would be too narrow. Talking to Revzilla confirmed that they may be narrow and that I should look into TCX. I wanted GoreTex so I grabbed up these. Sizing was pretty much spot on. Plenty of room without being too roomy. Just like wearing a sneaker. I've used them pretty much all season at this point. When its 90F out they don't get too hot, and I've been in a little rain with them and they keep you nice and dry without your feet getting too sweaty. I wish they had more hard parts to them but I feel the protection they have should be adequate. So far I have about 6,000 miles on them and they still have a lot of life left.

In hindsight I probably should have gone with the non-magnetic. Don't get me wrong I think the bag is great, I just didn't think of the potential hazards of having strong magnets and storing my wallet in this bag. So far no issues with any of my cards getting cleared out but it is something to keep in mind if you're looking for a magnetic tank bag. The plastic map pocket is nice but I would imagine this will be the first part of the bag to wear out. Already have some small holes in it. The bag has lots of room, rarely do I need to haul so much stuff that I expand it. Magnets are strong and secure. When not on my bike its magnetized to my metal from door. I can fill it with as much goodies as I want and it doesn't move.

Woodcraft Frame Slider Base Yamaha FZ6 2004-2010
Woodcraft Frame Slider Base Yamaha FZ6 2004-2010
Woodcraft Frame Slider Base Yamaha FZ6 Frame Sliders are one of the smartest investments you can make for your motorcycle. From street accidents to 100 mph high-sides, nothing will help prevent costly damage to your frame or engine more than a set of Woodcraft Frame Sliders. The patented 2-piece slider design makes them the most durable sliders on the market, and their perpendicular mounting bolt allows the slider pucks to be solid rather than hollow, which allows for nearly 50 more material and dramatically improves puck life. This design also makes it super easy to replace a slider puck after a crash without having to remove the engine bolt. All Woodcraft Frame Sliders mount directly to the engine mounts without any kind of offset bracket. This is absolutely the best way to protect your bike in a crash - giving the slider maximum strength to resist bending and breaking. Offset sliders can break and sometimes do more damage than they prevent (like breaking frames). Woodcraft will only sell what they race and believe these to be the best frame sliders available. Woodcraft's experienced racer and R&D squad made it clear that sliders must only stick out far enough to protect the bike but not so long they get ripped off as the bike slides down the road. The end result is all Woodcraft sliders are the ideal length providing you the protection without too much projection. Features: CNC machined frame slider base Clear anodized finish Steel engine bolts Includes all necessary hardware Note: Woodcraft Frame Slider Pucks are required ( sold separately ). Image for reference only. Actual Woodcraft Frame Slider will vary slightly depending on your motorcycles make and model.
