This is beautiful, what is it? Velvet?
While the exterior is tough and sturdy, the inside is lined with a very soft and *very* comfortable fabric. No break-in period seems to be required whatsoever. The fingers are flexible right where you need it on that first ride out.
I normally wear a large, and the large fits perfectly, so sizing is spot on.
I've never worn a more comfortable glove for any sport. Even the velcro has just the right amount of retention to make it easy to slip on and off.
Quite a bargain for the price, and they look and feel better in -person.

Fit
Small
Slightly Small
Large
I'm 5'10, 175 lbs with a slim-average build, and normally wear a medium or size 38. I ordered the Vandal in a medium and the fit is "perfect", if not a tad small. There is plenty of room for elbow armor and a enough room for back armor, but the shoulders are already a bit too snug. Wearing this over a thin shirt would be best, and ordering a size up may throw the proportions off.
It's waxed cotton, so you should not compare it to leather or mesh in terms of durability, adding armor is a a definite must.
On the other hand, the entire jacket breathes and there is no inner liner so I would feel that it's suitable to moderately cooler to warmer temperatures. An excellent jacket for the 'in-between' seasons.
Other than that, it looks great.
