What can I say, it's Level 2 spine armor. It fits in the pocket of my Size 58 Alien jacket. It's not uncomfortable, and after a while you don't notice it any more. It breathes very well in so far as I have tested it. It hasn't gotten really hot yet, so I don't know how well it will breathe at 85+ degrees, but in the mid 70's I don't get a big sweaty hot spot on my back.
It's definitely not stylish, and has made my sexy Italian leather jacket a little bit hunchbacked. But it's not designed to look cool, it's designed to reduce the likelihood of breaking yourself in an unintentional high speed dismount. LIke all Dainese armor, it feels like it will protect you, and that is what is important. I hope I never have to find out how well it performs, but just in case, I'm glad I have it in my jacket.

This is about the best helmet for the money you can find. SNELL 2010 for less than $200 is amazing. The color is very bright. The XXL fits me the same way an XXL HJC fits, and I wear a 7 5/8 hat size. It whistles a bit but not very loudly, I don't wear earplugs with it. It seals up nicely against the cold and doesn't fog up at anything above a standstill. My favorite feature is the eyeglass channel. I wear sunglasses with it all the time and the helmet doesn't pinch them against my face. This is a perfect starter helmet, all the protection you could ask for and at very reasonable price.

Icon Brawnson Textile Overpants Understated style that goes over-the-top is the best way to describe the Brawnson Textile Overpants. Icon's relaxed fit and ultra-tough 900 denier chassis is a no B.S. combination. What else would you expect from a pant called Brawnson Remember the Brawnsons are an 'overpant' which means they are already sized up on size. Therefore buy a size 34 to wear over your size 34 jeans. If your plan on running your Brawnson's commando then buy one size smaller than your normal waist size. Icon loose overpant fit pattern Durable nylon chassis Removable/adjustable ce knee impact protectors Large thigh pockets with zipper closures

These are some heavy duty pants. One of the things I liked from the description is that these pants have lots of pockets. What I discovered is that the front pockets have a mesh liner that goes straight to the skin. I don't know if they were designed to double as vents but they do let some air through. They are cut to be overpants, I wear 40x32 Carhartt jeans and these pants in a size 40 fit over them with room, I have to put on a belt to keep them up. In the summer I would feel safe wearing these on top of gym shorts just for riding. The are long too, I'd guess a 34 inch inseam. The only problem with the length is the knee pads sit low on me, even adjusted to the highest inside pocket. Dollar for dollar, these are a great pair of pants. If you don't ride in the rain (I dont), there is nothing better to spend your money on.

This is a very sturdy jacket, it feels like it will protect you well. The liner is very warm, I was getting toasty with it in at 50 degrees. I love the pockets, great for putting your gloves, glasses, and everything else in when you get off the bike. The Neon Yellow color is crazy bright and stands out well. The armpit vents are a great feature and get some nice flow around the middle of the body. I am 6'3" 235 lbs, 48 inch chest, 40 inch waist, and 37 inch sleeve. The XLT fits perfect. I added the Firstgear temper foam pads to the elbow armor pockets to give the sleeves a tighter fit once I took the liner out, helps keep the armor in place.
