REV'IT! Pacific H2O Rain Suit In developing the Pacific H20 rain suit, one of REV'IT!'s main goals was to make it easy to put on in just a few seconds about the time it takes you to get soaked during a heavy shower. Mission accomplished. The solution lies not only in the long, diagonal front closure, but especially in the newly developed, non-stick, PVC-free coating on the inside of the Power Nylon outer shell. The result is a 100 waterproof, breathable, and very practical all-weather companion that will meet the demands of any rider. Convenient features include a storage pocket on the upper leg. For safety, reflection panels on the shoulders and lower legs ensure great visibility. If you need to stand out in traffic even more, the Pacific H2O comes in a high-visibility neon yellow option. PROTECTION FEATURES Outer shell PVC-free PWROxford with PU coating, PVC-free PWROxford EN471 with PU coating (in Neon Yellow color only) Waterproofing 100 waterproof Composition 100 polyester (100 polyurethane coating) Visibility reflection at shoulders and legs, reflective logo at chest and back ERGONOMIC FEATURES Fit tour fit, regular Adjustability adjustment tabs at upper arm, cuffs and ankles Features PVC-free XL front zipper Elastic at waistline Includes transport bag Stash pocket on left leg EN343 certified

The suit looks great, packs into a small volume, but doesn't do its job, which is keeping me dry. It is no worse than any other one piece to put on over riding gear, but sleeve and pant leg volume adjustments are pretty rudimentary compared to other suits in this price range. Fewer external pockets, and the one provided did not show any thoughtfulness in design - like it was an afterthought. Ultimately the suit failed to keep out water in a 30 minute long city ride in a hard rain behind the fairing of a 2008 BMW K1200gt.. I had intrusion on the right side on the arm, groin area right below the beltline (not the crotch) and the right leg. Moisture got through the rainsuit, through the mesh riding gear underneath, and got my clothes wet. The groin area moisture got to my skin and caused me to stop under shelter to inspect suit closure, and it looked fine. Once I got out of the suit I knew otherwise. The fabric was heavy with water and it clearly penetrated the full thickness of the fabric, as if no treatment to the fabric was applied. In contrast my Cyclegear Bilt rainjacket and Frogtoggs rain pants have kept me totally dry in all circumstances at less than half the price. They don't pack as tight or look as good, but I was dry. I returned the Rev'It rain suit as warranty and sorely regret its purchase
No, I do not recommend this product.

Overall this is a good product, but it does not stand out. In terms of fabrics used it is in the top 50%. Stitching is straight and overall garment assembly is as good as any.
The outstanding issue with the jacket is the armor. The shoulder and elbow/forearm armor says CE rated on tags but I honestly doubt the veracity of the label. This can be replaced, though the cost lessens the price/performance of the garment. The back protector is of a proprietary shape that is not replicated by any 3rd party manufacturer, clearly is not CE quality, and Tourmaster does not provide any upgrade path, nor shall they (I asked). Had I known this at point of purchase I would have not bought the jacket and instead would have bought a Rev'it, Teknic, Macna or other mesh jacket with superior armor from the onset.
No, I do not recommend this product.
