R&G Racing Stator Cover Slider KTM RC8 / R / 1190 Adventure / R / 1290 Super Duke R R&G Engine Cover Sliders are a great alternative for any rider who does not require the need for a full wrap engine cover, or when one is not available. Unlike R&G Engine Covers that mount over the OEM cover, these engine sliders bolt on and extend outward insuring that the slider takes the damage and friction from a crash or drop. Crafted from High Density Nylon for strength, durability and good looks, they compliment the R&G protection line perfectly. These sliders bolt directly onto the OEM engine covers providing protection for critical engine covers and internals.

This was fairly easy to install although I had to add extra washers to prevent it from rubbing against the stator cover, I am not entirely sure why a simple piece of contoured Derlin should cost that much, but all motorcycle accessories are expensive, I guess.
Of note, there is no comparable piece for the clutch cover as the brake pedal does not leave enough room for one.

OK. it saved my life a few months back when I took a spill doing 50 mph,10 miles from home after a 2500 mile trip. Deep gravel on a windy road. The helmet performed admirably, but is no longer usable. The face shield popped off. The left side is cracked. The latch mechanism still works. I think a had a brief episode of concussion since I don't remember the actual accident, only remember tumbling on the road with the bike tumbling behind me.
The helmet is heavy but well balance. I have an arthritic neck, but had no discomfort during the trip.
A little noisy, but not too bad. It doesn't completely stop the rain from coming in, as the liner was damp after it rained constantly for 10 hours during one of the days.
It is also little nosier than the Schubert, but I have a Shoei head, so it fits better.
Overall, a great helmet, but also quite expensive, primarily because of the brand.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I recently lost my Ignition 2 jacket hydratex liner while in a trip to northern California. I was quite disappointed as I really like the liner. Revizella advised me to contact Rev'it and provided my with the e-mail address. Needless to say, I received a brand new liner within a week. The e-mail exchanges were also very pleasant.
Well, I have always liked Rev'it products, but after this, they have a loyal customer for life. Thank you Rev'it.

My setup is simple. The bike is a Concours 14. Zumo 550 (way better than 665 which I have sopped using, but don't let me start on that subject), XM satellite radio, Droid phone and a pair of SMH10's. The phone is connected o the SMH10 via BT. So, in order to stream stereo music from the Zumo, I used a Sony BT dongle, hard wired to the Zumo 3.5mm outlet, and paired to one of the SMH10's. The setup was great with ample volume. As a matter of fact, I only needed to have he Zumo volume only 3/4 max and could hear the music very well, even with 32 db earplugs. The drawback: only one headset could be paired to the Sony dongle.
So, I heard about the SM19. A Sena BT transmitter that could stream music to two headsets. What could be better? After all i is a Sena product and is about three times the size of the Sony dongle. It has to be the perfect and most powerful device out there, right?
I promptly ordered the device. As I took out of the neat packaging, my expectations were high. I connected it to the Zumo using one of the supplied cables, paired it to he headsets easily and went for a ride. With same earplugs I could hardly hear the music at 30 mph. A little faster and I could hear nothing. The Zumo volume is now maxed out to no avail. I disconnected the SM10, went back to he Sony Dongle and quickly head to turn the volume down.
I was very disappointed, but thought may be I was doing something wrong. I went to the Sena forums, and sure enough several users had the same problem. Sena responded in a rather peculiar way, suggesting the device was primarily designed for HD and BMW LT 1200 built in sound systems. This response made some SM10 users quite angry. I suggest you visit Sena web site to verify my story.
I am hoping Sena might be able to fix the volume issue with firmware updated. The problem seems to be hardware related, so I strongly doubt it's a fixable problem. I guess if you don't use earplugs the volume may be sufficient. I value my hearing to much and would like to keep it for a few more years.
I am sorry, but I cannot recommend this device as it falls short of performing its primary function, streaming music, adequately
No, I do not recommend this product.

Had the blueant F4 system for over a year.was fairly happy with it, but the speakers and microphone constantly broke down or fell apart. F4 was finally discontinues. The Sena system is excellent, but somewhat bulky and may be difficult to integrate into your helmet. The speakers in particular are quite large and may require helmet trimming to create a pocket for them. The sound quality is very good for BT even with plugs. Pairing is simple and operating intuitive.. I am fairly satisfied so far.
Yes, I recommend this product.
