Ive had this helmet since mid Aug. All of my riding up until last week was short urban scoots. 1000 kms of cooler temp freeway riding has given me a balanced look at it. In short its amazingly comfortable and much quieter that my Bell Mag 9 Sena. But in fairness I have not ridden the Givi wo the chin bar.
My initial disappointment with Givi's spectacularly stupid Pinlock and ventilation gaffs was handled in true REVZILLA fashion ... thank you RZ!!!! SHAME ON YOU GIVI ... YOU DROPPED THE BALL BIG TIME ... YOUR CUSTOMERS DESERVE BETTER!
Urban riding in hot weather was great. Ventialion was more than adequate by simply leaving the clear visor up, the chin vents/top vents open. The round shape was a concern until I put it on. It fits me great in an XL (same as the Bell) and is true to the measure. I do love the aggressive design.
At highway speeds of 120 - 135 KPH I found the helmet quiet and very comfortable. Starting out in the mornings at around 6C meant cool beginnings and I did have to crack the clear visor a tad to clear condensation in the city. No issues at highway speed with the visor closed chin/top vents open. No internal wind chill issues. One thing I did notice at speed was an intermitent "buzz" likely from the visor peak or vent covers but no biggy. Could have been temp/wind chill related. The helmet is aerodynamically awesome with no issues whatsoever turning side to side.
The field of vision is generous and both drop down visors optically sound. They work great individually or in unison.
Its a great helmet ... all it needs is the Pinlock visor that is STILL in every picture on the internet and an explanation of the vent system ... thats up to GIVI to provide.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Comfortable hemet that works great with the Sena interface ... as lond as you are cruisin around town and up to about 80 kph or 50 mph. Faster than that and you cant hear or be heard ... unless youre behind a full windshield/faring set up

Ample large fitting pants that can be a little cumbersome to put on. I dont recommend trying to pull them on over your boots. The waterprooof line works well but make sure the the crotch flap is pulled up into position and the jacket OVER laps it. A little on the heavy side but comfortable with and without the aqua liner. Havent ridden witht the thermal liner in as of yet. Works well with the Tour Master Sonora Air Jacket.
I had to exchange these as the first pair was huge. Contact an adviser if you are interested. RevZilla got me the correct size with out a problem.

This item is a stylish and functional technical jacket that works remarkably well for its price point. I have it matched with the Tour Master Venture Air pant and have experienced heavy rain on several occasions. The waterproof liner works as advertised. The air flow without the liners is great. I have a few concerns with snaps and zippers but just take a litle care when using them and you should be fine. The fit is large and comfortable with ample adjustment for fit. Im 5'11' 220 lbs and the L was perfect for me with room for just about any layering you may want ... until you try all three together ... then things get a tad bulky and heavy.
Thanks Zilla ... Your service is impecable and your advice sage.
