It is difficult to find boots with wide construction. I normally wear a 9EEEE and I have never found anything even close - especially the Italian manufacturers. The Scout WP's are as wide as I have found and fit relatively well. They are well constructed and tough. Break in isn't taking too long and they are feeling better every time they are worn. Being waterproof they don't breathe very well (at all) which might be an issue as the weather heats up.
Yes, I recommend this product.

One of my most difficult problems with gear is finding pants that fit my inseam challenged legs. The 5" EZ Hem bottom of the Recon 3 pant solves this problem. The local alteration shop was able to chop off all 5" of the EZ Hem section and they now fit great and comfortably cover my Alpinestar boots.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Some of the reviews complained about the zip off legs being irritating around the zipper. Fortunately it doesn't bother me. Being on the short end of the height scale, the easy hem feature was a big plus for me. The armor is weak and has been replaced with something more substantial. All-in-all a very good pant for the price.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Looked closely at my former Arai and discovered it was 11 years old (!) well past its 5 year safety threshold and decided it was time to shop for a new lid. Many new helmets have entered the market in the past 11 years so I decided to see if something would provide the fit/features of the Arail at a better price. The answer is NO. Arai still provides the best quality helmet on the market, that fits properly with a ton of comfort/convenience features. The XD-4 is an EXCELLENT dualsport/ADV helmet.
Yes, I recommend this product.
