Kriega R20 Backpack The Kriega R20 motorcycle backpack has been designed specifically as an active riding pack with Kriega's unique QUADLOC-lite harness system. The harness is angled away from underarms for total freedom of movement and once set, the pack is exceptionally convenient to use with none of the harness re-adjustment necessary on conventional harness systems. The size adjustable harness allows the backpack position to be moved up or down to produce the best possible fit. The Kriega R20 can be worn with or without a waist strap. The waist strap is not really necessary for street riding Features Main compartment with YKK water-resistant zip Side access pocket with YKK water-resistant zip Internal hydration sleeve with compression Internal zipped mesh-pocket SUPERSPACE 5mm airspace back. I commute with a fairly minimal pack: just a MacBook Air, a light jacket, a few other small items. The Kriega R15 (which I own, but isn't available for sale from Revzilla) is a little too small for commuting and the R25 (which I also own) is a bit too big - the compression straps don't cinch down enough for such a big bag that's mostly empty. I wish I had just gotten the R20 in the first place and a US-10 to add to the available capacity, instead of having this strange collection of 3 backpacks. If you're trying to decide, you can probably just knock the R15 off your list of options.

I keep a clear Shoei CW-1 shield in the visor bag and it fits well. I don't use the strap for anything, since I just stuff the visor bag into my backpack, but it does a good job of protecting the faceshield from getting scratched by other stuff.

This jacket is pretty warm. Works great under the leathers as an extra layer on cooler mornings, and I can wear it in the office. A bigger guy might find the fit a bit snug.

I've got thin cheeks, so I had to get thicker pads to keep my helmet from moving around so much on the freeway. The plastic tabs that hook into the helmet are a bit difficult to get aligned and properly clipped in, but after a bit of struggling, it finally popped into place. Otherwise, these are pretty handy, but I'm not really sure why Shoei stuff is so much more expensive than other brands.

I have both the blue and the 'chrome' mirrored shields. The blue one seems to be a little more mirrored, but also seems to pick up bug splatters much more than the silver shield. Neither have scratched enough for me to see from behind the shield, but I can see where the mirrored finish might scratch off along the front, just from normal wear and tear. I would still recommend it, though, because it offers a high degree of vision in both the sunlight and on cloudy days. On top of that, it looks really cool.

The Super Speed tex jacket is amazing. With the wind stop liner out, the mesh flows massive amounts of air. The sleeves are little short on me, but otherwise fits really well. No problems with the collar chafing or anything, like some other jackets. One small issue is that it takes a bit of time to get used to reattaching the sleeves of the liner: the elastic loop that the snaps thread through are hard to find, which is compounded by the fact that the jacket's sleeve opening can't be made wider.
