I am a huge fan of these boots, they were cost effective and they leave me feeling protected. I didn't notice any heat issues, but I have only used these boots for short rides around town. Good clutch and brake feel, and they help to reduce felt vibration. Construction looks good, and I'm not worried about them falling apart.

Icon Squad 3 Backpack Pack up, roll outits how we live. When the moment calls, its time to bug out and hit the blacktop with all the necessary gear in tow. To accomplish this, Icon engineered the ICON Squad 3 Backpack specifically for those that ride day-in-day-out. Revised and reimagined for the daily grind at legalish speeds. Updated graphics, a laptop specific pocket, unique front closure system, 360-degree reflective materials and our ICON Tri-Fit Closure System. Its a backpack built with the rider in mind. While the Squad3 is built with water resistant fabrics, Icon highly recommends the use of an aftermarket dry bag for any electronic equipment. I ordered this backpack after a lot of research because I wanted a small pack, ergonomically designed, with a few very specific features. I'm in the military, and I wanted a small pack to wear that could carry a few uniform essentials, and make my credentials and documents easy to display, while at the same time offering some extra space for a few tools. Exactly what I expected, very well built, and well designed.
The most important things to know about this pack: It doesn't offer the most storage space out there by any means, but it can fit a 13 inch laptop, a tablet, a few essential tools, a pair of shoes, with space left over for a light jacket or a sweatshirt. Next, the pack is very well constructed, and you wont have to worry about it falling apart at the seams. Finally the chest system takes a little getting used to, as the buckles are a little finicky to close with gloves on, but it sits correctly and doesnt move or shift while Im riding. Overall, great pack, totally content with my purchase.
Yes, I recommend this product.
