I bought these because the back zipper on the top of the Dainese Torque Pro boots was irritating the back of my calve. I had a thin pair of knee socks that helped stop the irritation but decided that these Dainese socks were worth a try.
When I put them on, I was shocked at the feel and fit. Almost like a very comfortable second skin that was tight yet flexible in all the right places. They enhance the comfort of my boots and eliminate that irritating zipper rubbing against the back of my calve.
Although they were expensive, I would buy them again. In fact, I purchased two pairs. If ever they were on sale I would definitely stock up for life BIG TIME!

I was not in the market for such a stunning boot, but when I tried it on, it fit like a glove. Seriously, they were like slippers. I wear a size 9.5 in Clarks shoes and a 10.5 to 11 in Nike Air. The boots that fit were size EU 44 or US 11. They look stiff but are very comfortable. A friend tried them on and was really amazed at how comfortable they are, especially since they look so technical and stiff. The BEST PART of this boot is how it zips up from the back allowing the back inserts to open backwards and allow plenty of room to easily slide your foot into the boot. No fighting to get in or out of this boot! That part is what sold me.
The only complaint I have is at the very top of the back of the boot where the zipper meets seems to rub against the back of my leg and it irritates the calve. After two days of wearing these boots I realized that the skin was getting really red and would blister in a small spot. So I put on a pair of knee socks and that solved the problem. I then ordered the Dainese Knee socks and they are really comfortable and do the trick, yet slightly expensive.

I had used these before with a Shoei helmet. These work just as good and are no trouble at all. The trick to putting it on is to bend the visor into the open position as in the instructions and when the visor is open, the pinlock shield fits into place fine with no effort at all.
I ride in colder weather and it is a necessity for me and does what it says. I do not feel that I lose any vision or that it is heavy in any way.

When I ordered my Dainese R-Twin, I asked for a back protector and the ForceField Pro made for Dainese was recommended, so I bought it. However, since the jacket is a nice snug fit, the ForceField Pro was 1.15 Inches thick and stuck out like a turtles back. I struggled with the back protector because I wanted a Level 2 protection but thickness was stretching out the jacket and was tight and really ugly from behind. After a week, I had called back twice about this issue and the second CSR suggested and recommended the Klim D30 Viper T5 Pro Back Protector. So I tried it. Amazing!!! It is 0.72" thick, much lighter and conforms to the jacket far better. Fits like a glove with no trimming required. The best part is that it too is level 2 protection. I am very happy with it and recommend this back protector with the Dainese R-Twin Jacket or any other jacket. I also have a Tucano Urbano Mesh jacket for warm days and it fits perfectly in that jacket as well.
A little note about their manufacturing quality. Many of the little holes for air flow seem to be covered in with a thin piece of the rubber material and when you have the time, you could cut them open with an exacta knife.
The look and technology of the Forcefield was sophisticated and cool, but way too big. The D30 approach seems simple yet it passed level 2 although I am planning not to test this out.

The only reason I put Good for the "Bang for the Buck" is because it was so hard to part with that amount of cash, but with that said, once plied out of my hands and forgotten about, I really love this jacket! In fact, I wear it out and about even though it is a bit cold for riding #I tell people I am breaking in the leather#. The fit is slim and tight. I had ordered a size 50 but returned it for a 52. I am 5'9" and 158 Lbs. with broad shoulders.

I got my bike out last week #End of March 2013# and have already taken three rides with the jacket. I wear an under garment by Tucano Urbano that is wind resistant and warm and combined with this jacket, I was not cold at all.
Although I think my Espresso Brown Vespa GTV-300 #cc# is really cool, I think that the jacket is getting more looks:)
I would recommend this and stay exactly true to the size in the measurement chart. I had tried on a 50 at a motorcycle show and the rep said that it was my size. They say that if you can zip it up, it fits. This is not true, not on my body anyhow. The size 50 cut into my bottom arm pits and I just could not imagine that it would stretch out. I am much happier with the size 52 which by the way is how I measure.
