So this is actually my second pair of these. The first pair lasted about two years (and I ride all but a week or so out of the year, commuting and touring). In the summer the venting is awesome, and down to about 40, they keep you warm enough. The reason I bought the second pair was that I did not want to take the time to try on others.
My biggest gripe is the zipper in the crotch, cheep, very, very, very cheap. That would be the reason for replacing the last pair. First the pull will break, then the part that goes up and down will fail.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I actualy went through a lot of boots before I found these. They did change the design a bit, so they now fit a little small (I had to go up two sizes). I ride all year and live in the pacific northwest so I see my fair share of rain, and these hold up very well. Down at about 35F they get a little cold after half an hour but all and all I would, and probably will buy another pair when these wear out.
Yes, I recommend this product.
