Pinlock just works. No more flipping up the visor at stoplights because it's all fogged over. It isn't very scratch resistant however, as this is my second one. But if you plan to ride in cool weather, this is a must.

Sidi Adventure GTX Boots Based on the outstanding success of the Sidi Adventure Rain Boots , it has been decided that the full Gore-Tex version of the boot will be imported from Italy. Previously this boot was only available in Europe. This ultimate adventure boot combines the best of both worlds (offroad and touring) into a boot that is extremely protective as well as comfortable both on and off the bike. With the Gore-Tex membrane these boots are 100 waterproof as well being highly breathable. These boots come with the Gore-Tex Guaranteed to Keep You Dry promise. Soft rubber sole for maximum grip. Replaceable strap system. Top grain leather construction. Composite inner sole. Removable arch support. Exclusive cam-lock buckle system. Cambrelle lining. Slim, cool non-bootie design. Rigid, shock resistant, anatomically shaped heel for maximum protection. Split grain leather inner anti-wear/heat panel. Single Flex System upper.

Normally I ride street only, but bought these boots for an adventure trip to Central America where the conditions were a little more extreme. These boots were fantastic. Kept my feet dry through river crossings, and out of trouble over dirt and rocky roads. Even in 100+ degree weather, feet stayed fairly comfortable (as comfortable as you can be when its 105). Now that I'm back, they are a great alternative to my normal boots for long trips.

Bought this jacket because I'm tall (6'-4") and thin (195) with long arms. Usually when I order an XL for the arm length, I feel like I'm a kid wearing my dad's coat. The European cut suites my frame well and surprisingly the sleeves are long enough. The Velcro on the neck closure rubs a little but not to the point of being annoying and will probably soften with wear. I bought the additional CE rated back protector and I do feel bullet proof in this jacket. Rode over 5 hours on two consecutive days with temps in the 40s and was very comfortable with just a t-shirt underneath. Not sure what the air flow will be like when the weather warms up, but the liner is removable.
