Nolan N90 N-Com Modular Helmet The new Nolan N90 Helmet has both full face and jet-helmet style capability. The chin bar can be opened or closed with the external shell made from polycarbon. The visor part has a rapid release function, and features solar tinting and anti-scratch material. The internal lining of the Nolan N90 can be removed and washed, and is made from Clima-Comfort material with antibacterial treatment. VPS (Vision Protection System) Short dark shield mounted on the inside of the shell and moving independently from the clear shield. As thick as a regular faceshield, it provides real eye protection when used independently from the clear shield. Also available in Light Blue, Smoke, and Amber. Easily operated by a slider on the side of the helmet. I had a limited budget and wanted a modular helmet. I wasn't thrilled with the other low cost modulars out there so I kept looking.
Luckily I saw a few reviews of the Nolan N90 so I decided to get this helmet. Boy, am I glad I did.
The helmet is awesome and I am very happy with the purchase. Read the reviews in the net since they do a very good job at describing the good and not-so-good about this helmet (there is always some compromise) but for the price it is an excellent helmet. The sizes for the Nolan matched the HJC I tested but it is a tad round (a little pressure in the forehead) that went away after a week of use. This Nolan fits a little tight but breaks in very quickly so careful not to get a size too large. And yes, the sun visor does sit a little high over your nose which is only an issue with viewing the instrument panel but I am OK with that. I love the visors in this thing, very clear. The only issue I had was that the sun visor had like an oily film on it that required removing it from the helmet and washing it with a mild soap (trying to clean it int he helmet never produced good results). Once that was done, the visor became crystal clear.
Other than that I am delighted with the purchase and very happy with the selection.

How does the head shape of the N90 helmet compare to the HJC Symax 3?
I am interested in the N90, but have pretty neutral or intermediate oval head shape. The HJC Symax 3 puts pressure on the front of my forehead, as do most HJC models. The Shoei Qwest fits me quite well. Is the N90 as round as the HJC's or is it a little more neutral/oval like the Qwest?
I tested an HJC IS-MAX BT and the size matched. Just be aware that I found that this helmet put a little pressure in my forehead (round?) but it broke-in in about a week. I am very happy with it.

Is this helmet Made in Italy or Made in China?
Does anyone know this? Thank you in advance for your answer.
The helmet and everything I could find indicates that it is made in Italy. BTW, the reason why I bought it.
