Graphic design is so odd but unique/awesome that I really wanted to like this helmet more. Other reviews point out narrow neck roll when putting on, but my trouble (and reason for return) was actually the shell around the neck roll. Even with the straps pulling outward to compress the cheek pads/neck roll, I could not don the helmet without my temples and cheekbones scraping the bottom edge of the helmet shell. Once squeezed on, the liner was plush and comfy, giving me my preferred "race-fit" snugness. Pulling the helmet off was the same problem as going on. I know there are multiple shell sizes of the airmada that may work for me (or u if finding same problem)
Visor optics seemed fine around the house, but visor felt flimsy torsioning when raising/lowering the shield over the pinlock at full close. Visor quick-release is poorly constructed (compared to my HJC FS-15 and Scorpion exo-500). Owner manual says to make sure visor is secure after change-out, but REALLY(!) do ensure the quick-release is truly popped and secure before riding, as I did a practice change-out and it worked fine until sliding visor up to widest detent would consistently release one side of the visor from helmet. Fixed by removing visor competely, wiggling the quick-release lever back and forth a few times...cheap + prone to user error.
IMO, my cheaper exo-500 is heads and tails better than the airmada in features, fit, and construction. Too bad nobody else right now makes a helmet look quite as crazy and cool as Icon...
No, I do not recommend this product.

i usually wear a sz L in most brands and after reading the reviews on this decided to size down. Medium is snug but comfortable. The padding seems thinner than my HJC full face but the material is comfortable. The underside of the helmet has a mesh fabric (I assume for breathability) but it feels rough and scratches my cheekbones as I pull on the helmet.
The chin strap has way too much extra length and no retaining loop so it flaps around unless you cut it off like i did.
Big visor provides very good peripherals and the optics are very good, no warping or distortion that I can notice. Haven't ridden w/ the peak, but without it the helmet seems very stable/minimal buffeting.
A chin curtain might be a nice option as a lot of air blows up from under the chin bar but that can be nice on a warm/hot day. i'm sure it'd be great when using goggles.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Beautiful in black. Wish it came w/ the fog-free visor, since it's the same price to buy separately...The detent for fully closed is REALLY secure, practically have to pry the visor open, which I like. It all feels top quality.
Pros Great Value, Fashionable, Comfortable
Yes, I recommend this product.
