Running these on my Triumph Scrambler after making the switch from the stock Bridgestone Trailwings.
Firstly...i'm a track enthusiast---and have a dedicated Triumph Speed Triple track bike. The Scrambler is my slow bike. It should, in theory, keep me from riding like a jerk as it's a big, dopey, heavy, slow bike AND i live in Chicago where naked litre bikes just don't make sense. NOPE...didn't work and I ride the Scrambler like i stole...scraping pegs and using every bit of tire i have--on and off road.
The tires: awesome stickiness and feedback from the road. Gone are vibrations from the nobbier and more off-road oriented Trailwings. Also gone, though...is the off-grip. I guess the tires are 80-20 on-off road? That's accurate. Tight and loose packed gravel roads are fine...but sand?! FAAAGETTABBBOUUTTTITT. Absolutely ZERO sand traction. Don't even think about it unless you have some there to help tow you out. As far as rain is concerned...I rode the Blue Ridge parkway after a heavy rain at speeds of about 80mph and never questioned the grip. Get nice a sticky pretty quick. Same in the city...rain or shine, the tires stay on the road. Super impressed.
Mileage:Have put about 6k on them in the last 3 month and there isn't even a flat stop. This might be different on a heavier bike...but my experience with my 500lbs + bike has been good.

Had a short trip from Chicago to Asheville, NC...during which it rained fairly hard for approx 10hrs (14hr total trip).
Now...i'm riding a Triumph Scrambler---stripped of everything. No fairing or wind protection of any kind, if you're familiar. We were cruising at speeds from 70-80mph the entire time...stopping only for gas. After about the first hour or so of riding through this rain...the suit started to leak. First my jacket started getting wet, then pants shortly after---bad enough that wallet and phone needed to be relocated into my backpack (waterproof) because after the 4 hour, i was completely DRENCHED to the skin.
Also: suit is HEAVY and does not pack well--fits as expected, though---I wore mine over a Roland Sands Clarion Jacket and jeans and had good mobility. Foot straps kept it in place just fine and jacket features a built in elastic waist cinch that stops it from flapping profusely. Corduroy collar feels nice.
In summary...if you're just regular commuter who might face potentially heavy rains to and from work *and have storage space on your bike*, i'm sure this will be fine. My experience with it isn't typical as most people would've pulled over and waited for the rain to stop *not an option for us*.
I should've spend a little more money on the Alpinestars packaway rain suit that my buddy used as it packs WAAAAAAAAAAAY LIGHTER and kept him "dryer".

Like most of reviews have said...this is a great lid for the price. It's got a pretty cool, aggressive shape...and looks even better in person. One gripe, though...a chin curtain and the lack of one to fit this helmet. I ride year round in chicago and i imagine the cold air hitting my mouth and nose will get old, quick. I'm sure i can jerry-rig one from my Alliance, but still. It's not particularly quiet...in fact, it's louder than the Alliance, but not significantly louder. Shield changes are super easy...fit is definitely snug, and you have a work a bit to get it on and off (pulling the straps apart and wiggling it off works fine). Does pretty well in the wind, even on a naked bike. Head-checks weren't a problem, either...especially if you tuck your chin into your shoulder when doing so. AND THE SHELL SIZE WAS TINY! i wear a small and when putting it next to the Alliance and a Shoei RF-1100, one can really see the benefit of having multiple (4, i belive) shell sizes. Bunch of compliments regarding the slickness and simplicity of it...and would certainly recommend it, especially at this price-point.
oh...and it whistles a bit--at certain angles. Having a shield on your bike would probably eliminate this..

I haven't had a chance to crash-test this yet, but i'm pretty sure i'll be fine when i do. I tried on a bunch of armored shirts/jackets--and this one fit the best. I didn't want to get rid of my belstaff waxed cotton jacket, but i needed some armored protection. I wear this underneath the jacket, and the bulge isn't too bad. It's winter now, so i can't attest for how cool it'll keep you in the summer, but i definitely felt the cold air the other night when i went for a quick 5 minute jaunt minus the belstaff. i tent to wear small/xs, but needed a medium this. I'm about 5'6", 130-135lbs.
Yes, I recommend this product.
